Diseases
- FleshWound - Injuries caused by breaking blocks with bare fist, no effect but if not cured with bandage infection chance is increased - bandage cure
- YellowFever - Contracted in the insect infested jungle, high fever and sneezing ensues, contagious to others - potion cure
- WhoopingCough - Contracted in the dusty desert, wheezing and coughing contagious - potion cure
- Plague Contracted by damage from zombies, high fever sickness, Vomiting and sneezing contagious - potion cure
- Cholera Contracted by drinking uncleaned water, sickness, Vomiting - potion cure
- Broken Leg Contracted by fall damage, slowness until leg repaired - Crafted splint cure

Doctors:
To create a doctor sign simply place a sign with [doctor] on second line, it will then turn into the sign on the right. You will need permission to create this sign.
Right clicking the sign will cure a player. If you have vault and an economy plugin you can set the price the doctor sign charges for healing the player in the disease config. (doctorFee: 0)
Immunity System:
live in a cold climate and keep getting pneumonia? well fear not we now have immunity
- Each time you contract a disease you build up an immunity to it
- when you catch a disease your immune system takes a hit so immunity for other diseases will reduce
- Death reduces your immunity.. as its not good for your health
- Higher immunity reduces chance of catching a disease
- 100% immunity will result in being immune to a disease
Basically if your house is in the desert or in cold lands, your immunity will build to any disease that is prevalent in that area, till you are not affected anymore. go out abroad though and you will still be affected by diseases you are not used to.. contracting those will effect your immune system even for the diseases you may be immune to.
Vaccinations: To increase immunity to one particular disease you are able to craft vaccinations to use on yourself or other players. to do this just craft a Syringe, you can then craft a syringe with a curative potion you have made to turn it into a vaccination injection for that disease. Just use it on yourself or another player to increase the immunity level to that disease.
Biological Warfare:
Viruses have long been a terrible weapon that can bring despair and misery to a foe, by using a syringe to extract blood from an infected player you can then place it in a glass bottle or imbue an arrow head with the lethal concoction, by putting the two together in a crafting bench.
This will give you a splash Disease vial. throwing at the enemy or shooting it into their castle has a chance of infecting players caught in the splash hurting them instantly and giving a chance of disease infection.
Or it will give you a diseased arrow which when fired at an enemy gives a chance of infecting the victim if the arrow pierces their skin
Protect your troops by vaccinating them against biological attack.
Note not all diseases can be placed into thrown vials or put on arrows.

A whole new system of detecting temperature of players and applying affects to them this includes the following details

World guard plugin needs to be loaded and enabled in the disease config
- WorldGuard region can be flagged as instant heal region - flag lightening deny This will instantly heal any player in that region

From Version 4.0.0 diseases are no longer set and any new custom disease can be created in the config files.
Disease comes with several diseases and remedies to cure those diseases. To create a new one copy a disease file and edit like the example below, and don't forget to enable it by adding it to the config file..

I'm doing something that encompasses that and you can limit the creation of items with specific lore / names via permission nodes through various plugins, and you can limit who can diagnose and look up cures via disease.info and disease.remedy.

On the subject of recipes - why does a tripwire hook and a glass bottle create a water bottle? I expected it to be booby-trapped but it didn't seem to do anything :/
Double fall damage for a broken leg I disagree with but I do like the idea for broken bones which someone else suggested. Maybe a broken leg increases the chance of breaking the other leg / an arm?
Contracting multiple injuries / illnesses would be ... irritating to suffer from, but a nice feature.
Two broken legs causes even slower movement, broken arms make your attacks weaker / provide mining fatigue. Concussion (perhaps from TNT / creeper blasts, fall damage, critical hits?) causes nausea, fatigue, and slower movement. Lots of ideas for things but mostly I'm commenting to give the help / info above and make a specific - hopefully easy - request :p
We spoke briefly on the server about adding cooling potions - and / or making water crafted from snow or ice / the soothing potion lower temperature and being able to build up a resistance to temperature that slows / removes the inducement of effects as well - whether hot or cold. Would it not be easier to add admin commands which increase / lower temperature and immunities which would allow players to create custom recipes to do the job instead?
And to create potions to increase, lower immunity, adding to the chemical warfare aspect.
As well as open up a lot of other new avenues.

The permission thing I mean is that you could prevent people from crafting certain cures so they should ask for other people with the permission (or in RPG point of view the one's who learned how to make one). The use of cure itself is not prevented so you could go to pharmacy and buy the cure.
And you could make it so the permissions are given by default.
I want this because I'm making a realistic survival server and want to add a medic as a profession.

Hey yes only one disease at a time, or it gets massively complex for me and for the player to deal with multiple infections at once although I think I'll change so you can get other diseases if you have flesh wounds
Like the leg damage idea
Have to be cautious about disallowing people curing stuff, from testing people are annoyed if they can't heal them selves
Want the plug to be fun rather than annoying :)

It's alright, the OP thing was the problem. But doing these tests I realised that this plugin needs /disease reload command. And is it only possible to be sick from one disease at the time? Cause I was trying to get cholera with fleshwound and couldn't up until I bandaged myself.
Also some ideas I feel sharing for the sake of being bored: 1) Double falling damage when leg is broken. 2) Permissions for each cure recipe (this could be used as RPG element)

This turns on debug mode which will show all operations (or most) and details in the console which may help shed some light on things

EDIT: You know what? I think I just realized what's up. I gave myself OP to heal myself an it stopped working. OP probably gives the disease.immune permission... My suggestion would be to remove the OP check for immunity.
More test results have arrived!
So I just did another clean install. Works fine. I punch a rock, I get flesh wound. I relogin, punch a rock, still get flesh wound. I type /health and then BAM stops registering that I punch the block and no more message of me getting a flesh wound. The console has no output other than saying that I typed /health.
Just as I was typing, I rejoined my server and it works again, but this time when I typed /health it didn't broke, it still registers me punching rock.
This keeps getting more paranormal
By the way, this time I'm testing with Essentials amd it's working.

I'm using the ones on Spigot website. But the thing is that even if I delete the plugins and put only the .jar of Disease it still doesn't work. It did work just after clean server setup. I can do more testing, name anything you need.

EDIT2: This is so weird. I added Essentials and it stopped working, however when I removed Essentials it still doesn't work. Even when I deleted Disease folder for it to get created again, still doesn't work. The commands work (I can infect with command and I see sickness getting higher)
EDIT: Ok after doing a clean install of the server I tested it and it works fine. I will now add plugins one by one and see which one is the culprit.
I did try punching rock and setting it to 2. I don't really see anything in console, although the server is hosted on a hosting site so it likes to take 40+ lines and print a message saying too much console output in a moment. Also could be other plugins interfering. But for example when punching rock for a long time I get no output in console, no error as if it had a problem with giving a disease/wound.
I will try and do a clean server install with only that plugin and post the results.

best one to try is punching rock, I haven't heard of any issues on 1.8.7
do you get any errors, can you infect people with commands and watch temperature etc go up
Feels like it doesn't work. The commands do work, but I can't seem to get any of diseases naturaly. For example I set chances to 1 and try to get infected by cholera, plague, break a leg or flesh wound and I couldn't get any of them.
I'm using Spigot for 1.8.7.
