SuperSticks
The Stick: It's nothing special, just a plain old piece of wood. But what if there were functionality to that piece of wood? What that piece of wood could do things like launch fireballs, or summon lightning? With SuperSticks, that dream can become a reality. Using simple crafting recipes, you can create sticks that do almost anything imaginable! From snowball fights to total destruction, SuperSticks is guaranteed to make your server more enjoyable!
Features
- Cannon Stick - Launches TNT in the direction you're looking!
- Enchanting Stick - Adds a random enchantment to any item!
- Flame Stick - Launches fireballs!
- Hiding Stick - Hides the user from all online players!
- Lightning Stick - Summons Lightning!
- Smelting Stick - Smelts all of the ores in your inventory!
- Snow Stick - Launches snowballs!
- Swap Stick - Changes a block to a random different block!
- Taming Stick - Instantly tames and saddles a horse!
- Teleport Stick - Teleports a Player to where they're looking!
- Wool Stick - Instantly makes a sheep regain its wool!
Commands
- /ss - Give yourself a SuperStick of your choice!
Other Features
- Limited Uses - Configurable uses for each SuperStick!
- Cooldowns - Configurable cooldown times for each SuperStick!
- Update Checker - You'll be notified when a new update is available!
For information on configuring uses and how to disable the update checker, visit the config.yml help page.

Permissions
- supersticks.* - Permission to use all of the SuperSticks.
- supersticks.cannon - Grants permission to use the cannon SuperStick.
- supersticks.enchanting - Grants permission to use the enchantment SuperStick.
- supersticks.flame - Grants permission to use the flame SuperStick.
- supersticks.hiding - Grants permission to use the hiding SuperStick.
- supersticks.lightning - Grants permission to use the lightning SuperStick.
- supersticks.smelting - Grants permission to use the smelting SuperStick.
- supersticks.snow - Grants permission to use the snow SuperStick.
- supersticks.swap - Grants permission to use the swap SuperStick.
- supersticks.taming - Grants permission to use the taming SuperStick.
- supersticks.teleport - Grants permission to use the teleport SuperStick.
- supersticks.wool - Grants permission to use the wool SuperStick.
- supersticks.ss - Grants permission to use the /ss command.
- bypass.* - Grants permission to bypass all SuperSticks limitations.
- bypass.cooldowns - Grants permission to bypass the SuperStick cooldowns.
- bypass.uses - Grants permission to bypass the SuperStick uses.

Posted Jun 29, 2014@KrazyTraynz I can do a pull request for the feature that @broluigi is asking for. Or you could just change the crafting recipes to having the items have a chatcolor. Then when you are saying if(event.getItem().getItemMeta().getDisplayName()==ChatColor.(w/e) + "Stick")

for example, you see how snow stick says "Snow Stick" Players can take a normal stick, and name it "Snow Stick" and it works like a ordinary snowstick. I cant let players craft these, so i am asking if you can make it so every spawned stick is unique and cant be made by anvil

Oh Ok. I think it would also be a good idea to be able to remove the 'You must wait 1 second' messages, or at least change them. In close PvP, you can't really count each second, so spamming the stick is your only option, which spams your chat

We may add this eventually, but with plugins like world guard it's a bit unneeded. @EN7
It's not a bad idea, but it would take a lot of work and could cause a lot of chaos.

Sounds like a good idea. We've been thinking of some way to nerf some of the sticks and make it so they don't wreak havoc on servers and one of our ideas was to add Cool down times. Thanks for the suggestion!

Posted Jul 31, 2013Looks great! I am going to add it to my server. Some ideas, Sticks have maybe 3 uses? And the uses left is displayed in the lore box.
Maybe add the running stick (escape), gives you speed 3 for like 5 seconds?
