What is BetterOp you ask? Well as the name implies it makes being an Op better. It adds a lot of commands and mechanics, including player punishing and rewarding commands and soon to be much more. Why would you get this? Well why not, it's fun to strike players with lightning or burn a player if they stole something. It is also fun to mysteriously give a player diamond gear or good status effects then disappear into the darkness. Seriously, why not? It also makes your players' experience more fun so you can rest easy.

Commands

Here is a list of commands so far.

• /ignite <player> - burn the specified player.
• /strike <player> - strikes the specified player with lightning.
• /hurt <player> - Hurts the specified player.
• /wither <player> - Gives the specified player wither.
• /healplayer <player> Heals the specified player.
• /boostplayer <player> Gives the specified player a few good status effects.
• /diamond <player> Gives the specified player diamond gear.

Other Features

• Has an announcement system
• Saves UUIDs of players that join (for plugin purposes)

Planned Features

I am done all the features I wanted to add. Now it is up to you to tell me what you want in the next version.

• A "rules" command - Finished
• A command to disable and enable plugins Finished

Note: Finished means that the mechanic is finished and will appear in the next version. In Progress means that I am working on it. Didn't Work means that the idea didn't work out as planned and won't appear in the next version.

I am open completely open to suggestions at this point. Please leave in the comments what you would like me to add in this plugin.

How To Install

If you do not already know how install plugins, here is how to install it:

1. Extract the zip file that you downloaded
2. Read the "README.txt" file, it has important information
3. Move the "BetterOp.jar" file into your plugins folder of your server
4. Run your server and your good to go!

Known Issues

There are some known issues with the current version BetterOp that I am trying to work out. If you report a bug, the issue will be added to this list.

• You can't use any commands on yourself - I found this in testing and it is being worked out. - Finished
• Once in a while it won't start up - I also found this in testing but it is very rare and is very hard to work out. - Finished
