Beta+ Bukkit
Hello everyone!
This is a Spigot 1.14.4 port of my mod, Beta+. It works by injecting a custom generator into any Beta+ world.
WARNING
Due to how VANILLA handles server.properties files since 1.14, you MUST use a multiworld plugin to get this to generate on a server. server.properties WILL NOT accept non-vanilla values as of April 5, 2020.
Features
- Accurate Beta 1.7.3 Terrain Generation!
- Modern structures, such as Ocean Monuments and Pillager outposts!
- Underwater caves
- Deeper oceans!
Seeds
All seeds from Beta are compatible with Beta+. Due to ocean monuments though, the sea level has been lowered by one block to prevent ugly ocean dips. Here are some seeds I recommend!
- gargamel
- Glacier
- 455708941492255162 (my first ever seed from 2010)

How do I generate a world with this plugin? I use the 1.15 version, as it's the closest version to 1.17 i can use. I do have Multiverse installed, and I guess I'm just confused because I'm not sure what the generator ID is, or if its even generated like that.
How can I disable modern structures?
In reply to Mr_Zomka:
Use the -a false flag in multiverse. That's what I do
Getting tons of generation problems on my worlds- perhaps you might not be able to replicate this, but using the "Glacier" seed on my Spigot 1.15.2 installation of the latest build nets me a huge amount of generation errors. Still, decent work.

Hi!
I have noticed in 1.15 they changed how chunks assign biomes drastically. I currently have no fix, but I am working out bugs in the 1.14.4 version. When I can figure out how to best fix my biome assignment issue I will most certainly release a 1.15.2 version!

Howdy sir!
Any chance of building a 1.16 release? :D Did you end up getting those bugs resolved related to post-1.14 chunk biome assignment? If you need someone to test anything (forge or bukkit) let me know.
Hope you're doing as well as can be!
This plugin just doesnt work

Hello,
which version? It is built on NMS and requires 1.14.4 for all released jars.
Very interesting plugin. The generated world is a real treat to look at, but not so great to play survival with. Diamonds seem quite rare, generated structures like shipwrecks are almost always on land, and several biomes are missing (i.e. badlands/mesa, jungles, dark oak forests, etc.). Those biomes should probably be included despite not existing in beta (just like savannas, which are abundant with this generator).
I really do appreciate the work you've put into making this generator. However, as a warning to other server owners, avoid using this as your survival world. It's fun when you're wearing nostalgia goggles, but that almost immediately evaporates. Especially on a public server.
I watched the video and all, looks like a great plugin and mod, BUT it really needs some documentation. I looked on both the mod page and the bukkit page (here) and watched both the youtube videos but I still have no idea how to use this and I really want to! Please do tell me how to get this up and running. Thanks, Bulletinum
How do you use this?
I don’t know if you would be interested in doing this, but... could you possibly make a mod or plugin for pre-1.7 terrain? I started playing in beta 1.8, and like beta 1.7.3, some interesting and unique aspects of terrain have been lost. In b1.8-1.6 I think terrain has a more unique and random look to it; looking more distinctly Minecraft. The current terrain since 1.7, while it has more biomes, is generally much smoother, less random, and looks similar in a lot of places on many seeds and through exploration.
I would be willing to help develop this, and possibly even donate a little bit.. I just have not seen much working terrain generators that replicate pre-1.7 terrain.

I like your idea a lot
