BedrockMine
BedrockMine
BedrockMine allows you to mine bedrock with a diamond pickaxe, it takes 1 second (Default, configurable). This can only be done with a diamond pickaxe (Default, confiurable). You can not mine the bedrock on Y: 0 (Deault, Configurable), has factions support.
Thanks to gergith for reporting errors & bugs! :)

@gergith
Yeah i'll change it
@Retherz_
I get that, but then that's a semantic issue. because if if the minimum break level is set to 0, why can I only break at 1? :p it's a language/value issue :)
@gergith
Set it to 0 and it will allow mining from Y 1
@Retherz_
Thanks for the quick fixes and replies.
I can now break bedrock with damaged pickaxes and I can also have them actually remove from the map :)
Problem 1) and 3) is fixed but problem 2) is not.
minbreaky: 1 is currently my setting, but I can only break Y:2-4, not Y:1. So of the 5 layers of bedrock I can only break y:2-4, not y:0-1 instead of not allowing y:0 being broken, and y:1-4 being allowed to be broken. Please clarify/fix :p
@gergith
1.1.0 Should fix it
@Retherz_
Did you release a new version? because my last reply was for 1.0.9
in 1.0.9 I can't:
1) The durability is NOT fixed. Any 278 (Diamond Axe) without 100% Durability can't break a bedrock block.
2) There are 5 layers of Bedrock, y:0 is the flat layer, y:1-4 is the random layer. Is the default setting you have meant to allow y:1-4 be mined, but NOT y:0? OR is it meant for ONLY Y:2-4 to be mined, and leave y:0 AND y:1? So is your default setting of minbreaky: 1 intended to allow breakage from 1-4? or 2-4? if 1-4, it's broken. Currently with that setting, I Can only break 2-4. Which is why I mention the => vs > thing...
3) I figured out one glitch better: The random blocks ABOVE 2 that don't break happen because I use a 278 Diamond Axe BELOW 100% durability FIRST. So if I try and fail to break it with a half broken diamond axe, I can't use another perfect 278 to break it afterwards.
The above glitches are for 1.0.9
@gergith
Durability should be fixed, drops should be fixed.
.=> 2 does the same thing as > 1
@Retherz_
Large step in the right direction.
They now drop and are removed from map. They look funny when they do and there is an odd timing glitch where by the time the first bedrock drops, you've already broken 1 or 2 behind it, but that's not really a problem and probably could be fixed if I adjust it to 2 or 3 second break time.
When I stand on the VERY bottom layer of bedrock, my Y:1 but I am UNABLE to break any bedrock on the second layer with Y:1, just from the 3rd layer up (Y:2)
So you may need a => instead of a > in your code.
EDIT:
I can't seem to figure out WHY (I can't infer your code). But only SOME of the bedrock will break, even with a brand new axe.
You didn't fix the damaged diamond axe being able to break blocks at all, that glitch is still fully in the code. You did allow for SOME of the bedrock to break, but not 100% of it. So I can't break the second bottom row of rocks, even though I haven't changed settings, and of the ones in the 3rd and 4th layer, I can't actually break them ALL, just some of them for some reason. I can't figure out why.
@gergith
Try 1.0.9, worked for me
@Retherz_
Both bugs persist for me into 1.0.8
@gergith
Ok, 1.0.8 should work (Not approved yet) http://dev.bukkit.org/media/files/729/128/BedrockMine.jar
@Retherz_
As in here are the two bugs I'm experiencing:
1) the bedrock won't remove/break from the map, but still drops
2) when it does drop, it only works for a full health 278, not on one less than 100% durability/health
So I was testing to see if anything else was odd/specific. So I tested breaking bedrock at all 4 layers 1-4. Still nothing physically removed off the map, just still dropping the blocks though. I then placed one of the bedrock blocks ABOVE 4, I think at 6, and once I placed it, I was unable to remove it. It's still sitting at 6. So it doesn't matter what the Y: value is, it's still the same 2 glitches as above.
@gergith
Sorry, what do you mean you can't remove it either?
@Retherz_
Thanks good sir (or madam I suppose :p)
As a test, I placed one of the bedrock blocks I got, and I can't remove it either :p
@gergith
Ah, i'll fix that
@Retherz_
We're a step in the right direction, but still no dice.
Now it's dropping bedrock, but it's not actually removing bedrock from the map yet.
I didn't try out 1.0.6 though. just 1.0.7
Edit: Further. every time I enable it/reboot, I can't use my pickaxe from inventory (still 278), but I have to give a new 278 to myself before it will work. and only the new one will force the Bedrock to drop a bedrock, not the old ones from past sessions from my inventory. Still won't remove the bedrock from map, thus allowing for infinite bedrock.
I have since realized it has everything to do with a full health pickaxe, vs a used/half full one. Half full ones won't work.
@gergith
Fixed it + a duplication glitch
@gergith
Yeah, they should work.
There will be a fix within a few hours
@Retherz_
Thank you very much. :)
Edit: Disabled all plugins but Permission Bukkit and BedrockMine to rule out conflicts. But still won't work.
Edit2: Should I downgrade BedrockMine for now?
@gergith
ok thanks, i'll fix that
