BattleProtections
BattleProtections is a lightweight protection module that uses WorldGuard. Players can select the regions they would like to protect, as if they are using worldguard, but the size and number of protected areas they can create are limited by the permissions you give them. All regions inherit properties from a single Parent Region, making it easy to customize what Flags you want all regions to have.
Features
- Control the size of any player protected region
- Control the number of player protected regions
- Control the totalArea of the player protected regions
- Everything inherits from a single parent. "PlayerDefault"
- size,number, and totalArea can be customized per permission group or player
- Players can share their region with other players
Commands
- /protect add <region>
- /protect delete <region>
- /protect share <region> <player>
- /protect unshare <region> <player>
- /protect list
Requirements
- WorldEdit/WorldGuard
- Vault and some Permissions plugin that allows Integer options.
Permissions
- nRegions: <int> <- how many regions the player can have
- allowedPerRegionArea: <int> <- how much area per region they can protect
- allowedTotalArea: <int> <- how much total area can be protected
- prot.share : allow player to share region
- prot.unshare : allow player to unshare region
- prot.add : player can add regions
- prot.delete : player can delete regions
Adding Integer Permissions
See this Permissions. If you know the commands for other perm systems let me know and i'll update the list!
okay cool no worries
even with all worldguard and all worldedit permissions enabled the command
/protect add <region>
doesn't do anything and doesn't return any errors. it seems like it should throw back teh exception message but its not generating anything
/protect list shows the numbers and the command USED to tell us that you have to select a protection area. but now its just blank results and no prot
@jeefblanch
you shouldnt need that. When i get home, in like 7 hours unfortunately, I'll find which worldguard perms you need if you havent figured it out by then. .
um scratch that - it seems like the wand is working as a blaze rod
but now i am getting nothing back from /protect add <region>
should i maybe turn on /region claim ? because i remember on battlecraft i used to use that exclusively to actually claim things
It seems like I can use pos1 and pos2 - i also tried enabling
worldedit.wand
but the positions aren't showing up after being clicked, only when using pos
and when i run /protect add <region> nothing happens, no error or nothing.
/protect list shows no regions as well
I'm going to keep tinkering around ill try to turn of mcmmo and see if ithelps
@jeefblanch
Not sure, depends on mcmmo.
try this.
let me know if it works/doesnt work. I really need to find out to update the page for everyone.
Okay so its mostly working, but we can't figure out how to allow players to select their protection regions.
tried allowing a few worldguard / worldedit options to no avil.
does it matter that mcmmo has a herbalism thing for the axe?

@jeefblanch
My bad, I had forgot to include a necessary file.... so I deleted that version as it won't do anybody any good. New jar is now just released. I think you can get it immediately by subscribing or something like that.
i am getting this error message
http://pastebin.com/cTFUrusq
when loading the plugin. it also links to "27 more" errors but i couldn't uncover those seemingly?
yo alk :D
trying to set up battleprotection with little success. i'm assuming all you do is add those perms to people?
would something like mcmmo mess up the wooden axe wand selector?
thanks buddy
@kahlilnc
