update?
How about muting players, too?
doesn't seem to work with our 1.2 server - we use sqlite and when a user gets banned, he just rejoins the server right away
when we check with /bh check it says the player is banned, and if we try to ban them again it says the player already banned though... but it doesn't seem to do anything to prevent ppl from entering the server again
Sorry, it works fine as far as I know with build(b2034). But i still get that error.
wont work with bukkit beta build(b2034).
got this SEVERE error:
@mantegudo
I am sorry about that. A new way to localise the plugin will be available in the next release which will mean you will not need to touch the source code at all.
@RevoMods
It will be done over the next couple of days, although the latest version works fine with new build.
Needs an update, bro :/
Hi, why u removed the localization option? I wanna translate it to portuguese without opening the source code all the time =/
@PatrickFreed
It is already added. When a player is banned it says:
x is banned Reason: x Length: x
@grandwazir
Could you add "Reason: x" to the end of the ban announcement? Thanks
@mantegudo
@RevoMods
This has been added through Alias integration. Effectively when you ban a name associated with an IP address you automatically ban that address as well. Check the change log for more information.
@grandwazir
Maybe when you issue another ban it just makes another ban behind the new one.. and activates after the old one?
or maybe add another command /expunch that will clear your criminal record. and make /pardon some kind of exception that lets the player in game even tough he has a ban in database
or leave pardon alone and add a new command Parole
@mantegudo
@mantegudo
Should be:
/banip (name) (reason) (time) /banip (ip) " "
New Commands suggestion :P
/banip (IP) (reason) {t:time} /unbanip (IP) /banipname (playername) (reason) (t:time) this command would ban the player and his IP if he is online. /unbanipname (playername) this would unban player's name and IP based on the stored data =p
Maybe a way to get MacAddress and ban too :p
thx
Thanks for updating! =)
May u make static commands instead of the main ones? cause I need to open the source every update and translate them, another thing is that you should remove all the broadcast thing and replace with this cause your method isn't showing any messages...:
That Will send a message to all online players!
That's it for now :P
Thx
When i try to ban w/ this enabled, it says there is an internal error. Is this update to 1.1? Please get back to me.
Question, you refer to a config on the wiki stating I can find a setting to set a maximum temporary ban length there, but I can't find any such thing?
Also, would it be possible to set a temporary ban length per group?
EG
banhammer.ban.1d12h32m
great plugin! can you update for multi server? i,e, constantly checks mysql for bans?
@Ps2maniac9
I am looking at a way that people can override the localisation provided with the plugin and set their own messages. It will be a while in the making however.
@JoneKone
This would take some work as the current way BanHammer is designed is that players may only have one active ban at once. Although the pardon command is working as designed at the moment. It is only meant to remove all trace of the previous ban.
