About bSpace
bSpace is the one and only plugin that generates spaceworlds for your server! Ever wanted to fly around in space and make awesome looking spaceships? You can now do that and many other things with bSpace! Just want an awesome world generator? Well, we can offer that too!
NOTICE
bSpace is in the mature stage of this plugin. As such, I do not spend much time on it at all. However, I do generally post bug fixes, especially for bigger bugs. If you would like a new feature, please make a ticket (top of page) for it. Unfortunately, my Jenkins server has been disabled, so I can't post any dev builds.
Features
- Spaceworlds with customizable planet and asteroid generation
- Spacehelmets and suits, can be turned on and off
- Pail (a Bukkit GUI) support - Pail is outdated. Don't expect support in the future.
- World manager support
- Basic breathable areas (where no helmets or suits are required)
- Awesome Spout features such as gravity and black holes
bSpace has many other features, but because we want to save some space (get it?), we only list the most important ones. If you want to know what the spaceworlds look like, you can hop onto the Images-section.
The following video is very old and does not accurately represent the current state of bSpace. However, it does show the basic planet generation. I do not have control over it.

In case these links ever come back up again:
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server.
These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
What should I choose?
- Downloading from Jenkins is reccomended; it provides the most flexible downloads of everything:
- Download the development for untested fixes/bugs.
- Download the tested build for builds that have no known bugs, but have features or fixes not in the release build
- Download the release build if you want a build that has been built solely as a wrap-up of new features or fixes.
If you have trouble installing, don't forget to check our very own installing and updating guide. There are links to all guides below, under the giant Pages-text. There are also some guides for developers.
Issues
We request that any issues that are found be posted on GitHub. Don't forget to give us information such as
- bSpace version
- CraftBukkit version
- Errors from log if any
- How to reproduce

@RIAZER
For the glass carpet (also known as Magic Carpet) you should use the Magic Carpet plugin.
For the spawn problem you could do several things:
- Making the spawn protection smaller (only OPs can build in the spawn area)
- Make a cobble generator so players could make bridges to their planet of choise
- Make bridges by your self
To build the Air Zone you should make a room with a spefic height (default is 5 blocks)*.
To disable suits you should edit the ids config file to:
Or give people the bspace.ignoresuitchecks permissions
Hope this helped :)
- * It could be less blocks high this is just the maximum
how can i use the glass carpet? in the video the player walk on a glass carpet, but i dont find how use it! the players who enter in the space are stuck at the ''spawn point'', so how can i enable the glass carpet? other question: how can i ''build'' air zone, or disable the needing of suit/helmet?
@gcity306
I was scruing around with it and i personally dont think you can unless you go in and code the other blocks in. I might be wrong though... hopefully i am!
How do you add blocks with (sub-)block ID's? Because I'm running a Tekkit server and I would love to add some other blocks...
EDIT: You can change the blocks of the core and the outer part in the planet settings, but I realy don't know how I use sub-block ID's. :(
JK i figues out how to do it! anyone with questions if i get a request i can make the first bspace video tutorial. I would like how to make a airlock tho thanks! I hope someone will replay and help me! thanks
how do you make a space world?
HAY! Do you guys know a good world manager that works with this?
@deleted_7752965
I'm not sure if you mean something different, but we do have permissions for commands: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/bananaspace/pages/for-users/commands-and-permissions/
YOU NEED PERMS FOR ALL COMMANDS
Dude, you can't release the plugin without nodes for every command or people may not be able to use it! So go and make some NOW. :/
@cataclym
To enter a space world that is already generated, you can use /space tner <world name>. Alternatively, if you need to generate a space world, you will need to use a world manager.
@iffa2
how do I enter the world, because I need to make one or something, what to do?
I'm sorry not to say it before but I didn't have the really last dev version Now I do and it work
Sorry for the useless post!
And a big thanks for this awesome plugin I finally found a place to put my Venator Destroyer now ;)
@Marioluigi
Can you paste your ids.yml here: http://dev.bukkit.org/paste/, then post the link? Or, you can use pastie.org, if you wish.
I don't know if it's already reported but when I die in space because I cannot breath When I respawn in my normal world I still die like if I was in space... Because I cannot breath too in normal world The only way to stop this respawn kill is to reload my server...
I really don't know why but I just CAN'T breath in my space world. I disable every single option with this and it still doesn't work I would really appreciate if someone could help me cause now I'm just desperate...
Here's my config file and my ID's file:
----------------Thank you for this awesome plugin that I use for months and months :)
I was wondering why the glass floor doesn't appear when I try to walk out...
@maldouck
Black hole chance is based off a percentage. 1 is 1%, or the least. 100, 100% the max, is every chunk
@kitskub
ok you're right just that I have took the config file from your exemple and on this config file this option isn't there ... anyway thank you Now i cant put it on my server !! oh and one more thing if I put the chance to 1 will there be a lot of black holes or will there be less than if I put it on 200 ?
@maldouck
It should be in ids.yml. its labeled 'blackholechance'.
