GUILDS
Guilds is a fully customisable RPG plugin that allows you to create Guilds with distinct advantages and disadvantages over other players and Guilds. You can increase or decrease attack and damage or even enable special abilities. Suitable and customisable for multi world servers.
Guild Configuration
Each guild is fully customisable and allows for millions of different variations. There are 57 Proficiency Types, Item Restrictions/Limitations, Active Worlds, Active Biomes and Home Bases. A player can only be in one Guild at any one time.

indeed im working on all the known bugs as we speak. if you get an error in the console please post here so that i can find the line of code causing the error and any in game bugs please make me aware. I have already released 2 new verisons in the past 2 days to fix bugs but only because of the help from the community.

In the Fall Trait, Low number is low damage, high number increases damage, so since its set to 125, they take slightly more fall damage than a normal player. For Mob damage its 50, so they have half the damage normally, which is 100 and Contact is 100, Contact is weapons which is a cactus, potion harming.
In Melee/Archer, I set most of them to 150 since I determined that 100 with a bow only deals 3.5 hearts while without the plugin a bow will deal 4.5 hearts. 150 deals 4.5 Hearts so that is the reason why I increased it. Also decreasing it seems to bug up, thats the the majority of them are still above 100, When they are below 100 they only deal half a heart which is abnormal. Even when set a 99 it deals half a heart. At 100 it deals normal amounts.
Also note that if you encounter classes doing instant damage or dying instantly from fall damage when their not suppose to. use /reload and that should fix your issue, its a bug which I encountered which occurs with /guilds load
The setting for attack Guild members is turn on on my config. It really doesn't matter since the NoGuildPVP = false doesn't work. And the Spammy Console chat thingy, Just ignore it, Chances are AVOCARDO should fix it.

Here is the Config which I use for my server. There are 3 Main Guilds and a 1 For Fun.
BloodCult: Assassin Guild which has high Melee damage which is tipped with Poison. They use arrows as Transportation arrows which is tipped with Confusion 6 seconds and Blindness 3 Seconds. It deals low Arrow damage, only dealing half a heart when attacking a no armour unit.
You will find what the others do. Hopefully this Config will give you an idea of how to balance your guilds or not how to balance them. *This was all tested by using no gear enemies and diamond weapons*.

Ok, heres an idea or two, add mining speed, chopping speed and movement speed to traits and more less OP melee abilities, because being able to constantly shoot fire or knock back is way too OP and fire swords already an enchantment, maybe add sword knockback or charge (Sprinting to do dmg and to knockback)

I did some further testing and it seems the traits value completely screws up and the modifier makes it stuff up. Note: While the server is online and you've done some editting on traits, make sure you use /guilds load than use /reload. Cause /guilds load loads the traits but screws up the values and /reload fixes the traits. I'll place a config here soon of a example of a tank, assassin and archer.

Currently permissions are not working and will be likely fixed by AVOCARDO when he finds time. Also traits do work. This is how the traits work, For Melee/Archer, when you increase the value they increase damage, reducing it below 100 will decrease it. For the rest of the traits decreasing it will reduce damage and increasing it increases damage. Make sure you use the newest Update since that fixes many issues found in v2.0.
Also make sure in Biomes, its set 2 all so they work in all areas. To test if traits work, make 2 guilds and set a friend and you 2 different guilds. Make your melee to 150 and save the config. Hit your friend and make him say how much damage it took off you. Now test it at 100 and repeat. You'll have to make large changes to see in-game effects. So set Player to 50 and you'll see a 50% damage reduction off players but not Mobs. If you want I'll make up a quick Guilds config fully set with different guilds and traits levels to show you it does work.

I don't think the speed ability currently works. I did see it a few times when I generated a new config but it would remove itself after. This may either be a bug or a future implement.

Sorry, I didn't tell you exactly what went wrong. When I walk or dash, I just do it at normal speed.
Hi, I'm just wondering, but when I put speed ability to true, and I set the Speed multiplier to 3, does it have to be 2, or can it be something else, because it doesn't work for me.

Ok ive released v2.0.2 which should be approved any minute now. It fixes melee and archer < 100 and > 0. you can not interact and damage mobs etc. No duplicated chat prefix on /guilds load. Finally fixed issue with exploiting fall damage and high jump. Will look to upload more bug fixes over the weekend.

To create balance to the races, you could possibly set all the values to 50. Eg, Player, Contact, Mob, Fire, Poison, Drowning, and so on. This would half the damage taken from all environments and adjust the poison tick time accordingly to match your classes. Of course this would take time and a lot of thinking.
So an example would be. You have 2 guilds. One are Ranged Assassins and another are Melee HeadsMen. The Range Assassins, you would increase the Archer damage to lets say, 125 and leave melee to 100. The HeadsMen are a tank class and have reduced damage taken, so set Player damage to say 25 to make the Assassin do less damage, and increase projectile to 150 so the Assassins have strong range. Since Player/Projectile work adjacently this would balance out the damage, it basically suggesting that you can work around the issue if you reduce player and increase projectile to compensate, this would work the same for fire damage and others. Its just you really do need to think about the values which you input in. Just a suggestion which would work around the issue which you are encountering.

Well since these values are lower than 100 to create balance between my races I am sticking with 1.3 until this is addressed. Otherwise my races are not balanced.

What do you mean by "but not edit them :P" If that is suggesting that it doesn't work, you can easily just edit the config file than save it. After saving the edit, ingame use /guilds load and it shouldn't override it with the previous config edit.
So basically. While the server is running. Open the config file. Edit what you wish to change than use (ctrl+S) to save the config. After saving it go to your minecraft and use /guilds load which should load the config file you just edited. The config file can be edited while the server is online, its just a annoying process.

The no damage mobs/cannot interact to mob is caused by the melee/archer values being below 100. This can be easily fixed by completely deleting your config file and letting it generate a new one. Here is a list of GAMEBREAKING bugs
- Config resets. This is caused by server.properties not having the level-name=world. Do not change this! keep it defaulted to world since GUILDS does not recognise any other name. It will fix the config from resetting and also use /guilds save if you edit from ingame to save the information created. (This is most likely caused by multi-world option)
- Cannot interact with Monsters, This is caused by setting the Melee/Archer below 100. So keep it at 100 or above. Just don't make it below 100 and it should fix itself
- Prefix Multiples when use of /guilds load is used. eg: [BloodCult] [BloodCult] <Player>. This is easily fixed by using /reload, not really gamebreaking, just annoying as hell
- Highjump ability basically gives you 0 fall damage, If you jump off a cliff but used high jump previously, you'll take no fall damage. This will be likely abused.

Chances are the config for you is resetting constantly. Please set your server.properties level-name = world. Currently Guilds does not recognise different names besides world. This will likely fix your issue.

Make sure you are running v1.2.5-R4 with this version. Also in your server.properties, make sure level-name = world since it won't work with anything else. If all else fails, try editing the config file with Notepad+.+ and modify the test guild. This should help you setup a working guild. Also if editted in game, use /guilds save to save all data than use /reload to check if it saved correctly

To fix the (require to join) issue which you are currently encountering. Make sure in the config file is as followed : allowLogger: false and allowNoGuild: true. This should fix this.

Since the permission system isn't working correctly yet, I'd say No. Not at this present time.
I had to revert back to guilds 1.3.0 because none of the abilities or traits were working properly and I don't know why. I tried everything but it never worked. I was really looking forward to using all of these new abilities too :/.
