AutoReferee
AutoReferee
Latest: AutoReferee v2.8.4 for CB 1.8.8-R0.1+
AutoReferee is a plugin for managing and refereeing Race for Wool (and other competitive Minecraft) matches. Maps can be easily configured to support AutoReferee and then distributed with its configuration file. Provides features for server operators, players, referees, spectators, and streamers.
Official Plugin of RMCT
Features
- Maps can be configured to work with AutoReferee, putting a configuration file in the world folder to be easily distributed with the map.
- Maps can be properly archived for distribution (cleaning up the map, making the job of a mapmaker even easier!)
- Players may easily get information about a map, join a team (either a random team or specific team), and leave their team.
- Matches are tracked from waiting for players, to playing the match, to completion, taking all the work off of server operators to ensure fairness.
- Matches are automatically completed when specified goals have been satisfied, providing instant feedback for players and spectators.
- Spectators are notified of important events, such as retrieving objectives and satisfying win conditions.
- Spectators have access to view players' inventories and fly around the match. Players will not be able to see spectators, to prevent distraction.
- Player and Team statistics are recorded during a match, and are uploaded for players to view.
Running AutoReferee
To run AutoReferee, download and drop your plugin into your plugins directory: that's all! The default configuration will be suitable for most server operators. AutoReferee will only attempt to manage maps that are configured for the plugin (worlds with an autoreferee.yml file in their world folder), so the plugin can be used with multi-world servers without affecting survival and creative worlds.
Configuring a Map for AutoReferee
If you are a competitive Minecraft mapmaker, and you would like to generate a configuration file for AutoReferee, first be sure to have installed the latest version of AutoReferee and WorldEdit (WorldEdit required for selecting regions). Always be certain you are using the most recent, up-to-date versions of both plugins. Once you have the plugins installed, follow this tutorial for configuring a map.

Hey Loving the plugin works great FYI i have been testing it on 1.3.1 and haven't seen any issues :) . I do have a question though there has been allot of hype about me releasing this on my server already and I can see where it is going. I'm gonna be running into a problem soon and was wondering if you had giving any thoughts to it. Have you thought about doing some sort of queuing system for this or thought about making a queuing plugin that would be an amazing feature. Just a thought, Once again love the plugin will be promoting the crap out of it on youtube and twitch in the up coming weeks Thanks

No it makes total sense now that it would see me as not falling and force kill i just noticed it as we were testing it before we put it on our production server. Once i noticed it was the fly doing it, it made perfect sense. As no one playing will have the ability to fly LOL . Once again great work
@pip911
Great feedback, thanks so much!
Was the other person on a team?
Also, the only time a player should be forcibly killed for leaving the lane by the plugin is if they aren't falling (this happens with maps like Modern Woolfare, where you could potentially just walk into the other team's lane), so I determine how fast they are falling. A player who is flying would not be falling, and would be killed.
As far as bugs are concerned, could you try to word this as "???? happened, I expected ???? to happen." That would help me determine the problem and the solution.

First I got to say amazing work, This is exactly what iv been wanting and hadn't had time to try to get something like it made. I have notice one thing and I'm not sure if its something i'm missing. I was testing it out last night and it worked great, but I notice that when i'm on a team and cross into the void or out of the region I die. I want to note that I am op on the server, but a standard player that has no special perms can cross all the way out of his region and into the other teams region. He cannot interact with anything so that's great. I didn't see any perms or anything so didn't know if this was a bug or if it was intended. Once again keep up the great work this is awesome.
EDIT:: after a bit more testing it looks like if someone has fly on and enters the void thats when you get the instant death but when you are standing on the ground and jump you just fall into the void gonna test a bit more but that makes sense
