AuthMe
AuthMe
AuthMe prevents people, which aren't logged in, from doing stuff like placing blocks, moving, typing commands or seeing the inventory of the current player.
The possibility to set up name spoof protection kicks players with uncommon long or short player names before they could actually join. Login Sessions make it possible that you don't have to login within a given time period.
Each command and every setting can be enabled or disabled by a easy structured config file. And if you don't prefer English or don't like my translations you can easily edit nearly every message sent by AuthMe!
Features:
- Playername spoof protection
- Protection against "Logged in from another location" messages
- Login sessions
- Editable settings & messages
- MySQL and flatfile support
- Supported hash algorithms: MD5, SHA1, SHA-256, xAuth
- Custom MySQL tables/columns (useable for forums, other scripts)
- Database queries can be cached
@netherfoam
Are you using the file or the mysql datasource?
A pretty sweet plugin, although, the sessions don't appear to work when you turn off caching. E.g:
does not enable sessions. However, setting caching to true will work. Is it possible you could add this? Alternatively, perhaps a cache-refresh timer? - A mere suggestion.
@Gibstick
I just uploaded the final release. it just needs to be approved by the BukkitDev admins...
Looking forward to the update :)
@whoami2
Great! Glad to see someone who actually listens to people. :P
Also, could you add an alias for the login (maybe register) command? So it's only /l and /r makes it much easier. :3
@IAreKyleW00t
Also, a recommendation; could you make it so if the server is reloaded players will either get a message saying they need to login again and/or teleport them back to the spawn (temp)/lock them in their place until they login again.
I will add that
@whoami2
Thank you so much, this plugin works SO nice. Also, a recommendation; could you make it so if the server is reloaded players will either get a message saying they need to login again and/or teleport them back to the spawn (temp)/lock them in their place until they login again.
xAuth has that, and I think atleast telling them would be a good thing to add. :D
@IAreKyleW00t
I am planning to release a stable version of AuthMe as soon as there is a recommended build for craftbukkit with 1.8 support. This stable release will also include compatibility with xAuth hashes.
Your plugin is the only one that's working properly with CraftBukkit #1135. The one I used before was xAuth and it doesn't look like he's updating it soon.
There any that I can import all the passwords from xAuth onto the AuthMe? I know xAuth uses a Whirlpool encryption, with some custom salts I believe. But I got about 700 accounts, and I'm worried that changing it will let people go on others accounts and set a password to mess it up.. (yes, I run in offline-mode),
Anything you can do? :\
installed, works fine!
hmm thats weird
Let me see what i can do...
When you find another bug can you please open a ticket for that instead of posting it in the comments? Its easier for me to have all bug reports in one place.
The WorldEdit client-side GUI thing is bugged again, I'm pretty sure you still remember this, rolling back to the old AuthMe for now. :P
because they are not written yet... But I will get to that as soon as I finished the beta for AuthMe 2.0
@whoami2 We don't have rights to visit the pages for things.
Hello, really nice that you updated AuthMe! This Plugin is really important for my Server and it's nice to see that you are still working on it :) A big thanks! A few days ago I thought AuthMe is inactive, but now really nice!
