AttributeHider
This project is updated for the latest version of CraftBukkit. I won't update the plugin for any unofficial forks or anything else.
AttributeHider
What this plugin does
This plugin hides the recently introduced attributes from players. This is useful for roleplay servers, that have their own lore design and don't want this new feature or if the additional 2 lines in the lore just annoy you and you want to get rid of them. Once loaded it will always hide the attributes for your players without removing their effect. As of now there is no whitelist feature for the attributes to appear.
How to use this plugin
This plugin hides the attributes section in the lore from players without removing the effetcs. So in order to get this plugin to work just drop it in your plugins folder and make sure you also have ProtocolLib in your plugin folder. Once loaded it will always hide the attributes for your players without removing their effect. As of now there is no whitelist feature for the attributes to appear.
Dependency
This plugin depends on ProtocolLib. You will need to get ProtocolLib to use this plugin.
Anything else?
This plugin is always active (hiding attributes) and does not have any command nor permissions nor config.
TODO
- Whitelist feature
DONE:
- Add support for internal plugin messages
Found a bug or just have a suggestion? Let me know and I'll try to improve this plugin.
Source
The source can be found in the jar in the folder 'src'.
@ImSicks
Guessing it doesn't work either then? D:
This does not work for me...
Im using CB 1.7.9-R0.2 and AttributeHider-v1.2.4
AttributeHider doesnt show up on /plugins list.
I get this error when open trade villager menu: http://pastebin.com/G2u9FcX7 I think this plugin causes it because when I remove this plugin this error disappear.
Otherwise the plugin works great. I'm using v1.2.3, cause I'm with 1.7.9 spigot.
@mncat77
Just because they aren't supported does not mean they don't work :) . Many plugins do work with Spigot I was just hoping this was one of them but I guess not, this is actually the first plugin I've found that does not work with Spigot I did search for the plugin on the Spigot website first but it's not on Spigot ;) thanks. In 1.8 you can hide parts of the tooltip in vanilla MC commands
Hopefully that will cover what I was hoping to use it for
@Zmolahah
It does not work with spigot (just tested), but unofficial builds of craftbukkit aren't supported here anyways.
@mncat77
Does this work with Spigot? Using the latest version + latest version of LibsDisguises and it says it's in the server but it does not appear to hide the attributes. I am in survival but removing any of the plugins in the below screenshot is not an option for me :l
@InsomniaCraft
I downloaded the lastet CB dev build and the most recent version of ProtocolLib and AttributeHider and started the server only using those 2 plugins and didn't experience any problems. Can you try to do that aswell and if it works for you tell me your plugin list (given that the Craftbukkit and plugin versions are the same) ?
This doesnt work for me either.
@LordKainzo
It works perfectly fine for me; Are you in survival/adventure mode? Are you using CB 1.7.10-R0.1? Is ProtocolLib also enabled? Are any other plugins interfering?
Tested it - but it doesn't work.
[16:16:18 INFO]: [AttributeHider] Loading AttributeHider v1.2.4
Still have +dmg on items.
shopkeepers error
Tried to update to 1.7.10 myself, but I'm not competent enough.
"read[i] = removeAttributes(read[i]);" and "packet.getItemModifier().write(0, removeAttributes(packet.getItemModifier().read(0)));" neither line seems to work on 1.7.10
Amazing work. :)
Hey mncat77, may you please update this plugin. All of us are getting (on initializing server) http://pastebin.com/c0WDUjTg
PLEASE UPDATE THIS PLUGIN!
@Dsiddia
Experiencing this same issue. I have the latest version of ProtocolLib and the version of CraftBukkit listed on the plugin version (1.7.2-R0.3)
@Dsiddia
update your sv and install protocol lib and make shour you have the same version of protocol lib and this pl.
Getting this error on start-up: http://pastebin.com/QCeKNuD2
What about hiding the same stuff for potions? It only works for things like swords atm
is it possible to ONLY hide the attributes if a specific word is present in the lore?
