Anvil
Repairing
Have you ever noticed how futile repairing in Minecraft can be? You combine two tools and get one with their combined durability. Now this is fine if you were running out of inventory space, however this is not useful if you want to keep a tool for long-term use, save your hard-earned enchantments, or be the town blacksmith. Now with Anvil, you can create an anvil block (if you have Spout; otherwise an iron block) and right-click with the tool or armour you want to repair.
How to Repair
To repair, you must have at least one of the base item in your inventory. For example, if I wanted to repair an iron pickaxe, I would need to have at least one iron ingot in my inventory. When I right-click the anvil (or iron) block, it removes the ingot from my inventory and repairs the pickaxe by 1/3 durability (because it requires 3 ingots to craft in the first place). This means a sword requires two to repair fully, shovels require one to repair fully, and so on.
Todo
- Add a feature where enchanted items cost more to repair (possibly costing XP as well)
What texture pack is used in that photo?
can you update this to take over what the anvil in 1.4.5 does
Yes please update!! This is simple yet perfectly effective!
Can you please update? I dont want to use mcmmo
I can't seem to repair fishing rods... I right click the iron block with string in my inventory and the fishing rod in hand but it just puts the fishing thing on the iron block? It doesn't even repair it.
Mind updating to CB R.1.2.5 R1?
The plugin kind of work with 1.2.5, the only thing it's that it doesn't remove the item from the inventory.
You think its a quick fix ?
Thanks
Why repair plugins is always seems to be discontinued? There is a couple request and none of them are done...
Does this work for 1.2.4/1.2.5?
@VeryBigCorp
Could you add this? "Add a feature where enchanted items cost more to repair (possibly costing XP as well)"
please update to 1.2.3
@re4397
That's an error from PlugMan...
Hey I have an idea for some optional additions for this plugin.
1. This one I would love to see. The ability to repair enchanted tools and keep the enchantment, but at a price. Instead of one item repairing it 1/3 or 1/2 of the way, it would take 4x the number of items required to craft the item to repair it fully.
For example, if I have a diamond pickaxe with silk touch at 50% durability, I could invest (4*3)/2 = 6 diamonds to repair it. 4 is the "enchanted markup," 3 is the amount of diamonds required to craft the item normally, and you divide it by two because you only need to repair it 50% of the way since you already have 50%
If you could implement the above feature (with the markup value being configurable, perhaps) then I can really see this plugin going places.
2. To make Anvils more unique, a chance to repair an item 2/3 or 3/3 of the way with just one item, but also a chance to lose an item completely without repairing the tool at all (configurable rates)
BTW: Can you PM me if you implement feature #1 so that I can start using it immediately? Thanks!

it would be nice if you added economy support and config where you could set up ways how the price is counted or how many items will the repair cost. For instance, enchanted tools could cost more items than just plain ones.
Hello, is it possible to change price of repairing enchanted items? For example 1 level = 0.5(/3) enchanted item price. To repair enchanted iron pickaxe with level 4 unbreaking you have to add 2 extra iron ingots? Or any way of making in configurable?
Exactly what i want, thanks!
Works a treat, thanks!

What do you mean?
How do i install the plugin to bukkit?
