Am I Lagging?
- I currently do not have the time to be working on this project, i will continue development when i have more time*
A small, lightweight ping system that shows players their ping in the player list (tab). You can, if you want to, make it so that if a player has a ping which is higher than the max ping you specify in the config, he will be kicked.
Installation
- Drop the .Jar file in your plugins folder.
- Start/Reload the server.
- Edit the generated config inside the newly made folder to your needs. (set ping limit to -1 to disable ping limit).
- Start/Reload the server again.
This plugin might not work if you already have another plugin using the player list
Permissions
As of v1.5, you can add a permission that will exclude a player from being kicked: AmILagging.exclude
Change Log
Version 1.6
- Much more stable now (should not break with every new bukkit release [thanks to FurmigaHumana :D])
- Much faster now, takes a lot less (already small) load of the server
Version 1.5
- Updated to 1.6.2
- Added exclude permission: AmILagging.exclude
- Added the option to add a timer to see if the player still lags after a set amount of time
- Clears the player list after disable
- Added reload command
Version 1.4
- Updated to 1.6.1
Version 1.3
- Fixed that nasty 0 ping bug! :)
- Works faster and in a more resource free way
- Updated to-do list :)
Version 1.2
- Set priority for the player list to be in this plugin's use
- Should now be absolutely conflict free (if you still are experiencing problems due to conflicting files, comment with your plugin list)
Version 1.1
- Added a few checks to make sure the plugin wont conflict with other plugins using the player list
- Made a fix for a nullpointer error, hoping it will fix null pointers for custom bukkit jars such as spigot and libigot
Version 1.0
- Plugin launch
To-do List
- Add Spout compatibility
- Make it play nice with other plugins using scoreboard
- Make it work with custom bukkit jars
Maybe a vip node that will exclude vips from kick? Tell me your thoughts about it :DMake it not interfere with other plugins that use the player list.
I don't like coffee that much, but id love a cup of chocolate milk :D
@Grave9912
No problem! Enjoy! :D
@szymekpl
Expect a fix soon :)
@amitlin14
It's MCPC+ (bukkit server combined with forge server, allows to have a server with mods, as well with bukkit plugins). I haven't experienced such an error yet. Every plugin I've been using does work without any problem. If you would be able to fix it, I would be very grateful :)
@amitlin14
Thank you for your great plugin :D I didn't realize what was causing the conflict with mcmmo until now, but I don't mind :P Just made mcmmo use chat instead of scoreboards. Very, useful plugin, thank you!
@Karther77
You cant have two scoreboards, it just WONT work, in the tab list there can only be 1 scoreboard at a time, this plugin automatically updates every 1 second, that's why you saw it go back after one second
@szymekpl
Is it a custom bukkit jar? if so ill try to build a workaround around those
Hello, I use mcMMO and when I installled this mod which is great and small very nice But then my /stats command for mcMMO which would normally keep text on screen for 15 seconds for viewing purposes now doesnt use the config timeframe of a set 15 seconds. It only stays on the screen for like 1 and half seconds.? When I removed this mod .jar mcMMO went right back to 15 seconds again. ANy work around for this to not change timing of other mods onscreen stats.. I have no other mode that uses the TAB command function.
Oh yes I am using 1.6 MC and most mods. with 0 errors till this issue..
Thank You
Hey! I keep getting these errors :C I'm using MCPC+.

@Robertdalton
You can only have one scoreboard at a time.
Im trying to find a work around it, however if another plugin is using the player list, there will always be conflict between the two plugins
This isn't compatible with scoreboards I don't think. I tried to put a deathcounter on as well and it it didn't work, unless of course you can't have multiple scoreboards on at once? Can you?
It worked, thanks! :)
@Lasa97
The reason why you are getting that error is because you are using an old version of java (jre 7 i presume?), here is a version that supports jre 7.
Im not sure if it works, i haven't tested it yet, i just compiled it against jre 7, tell me if it doesnt
I keep getting the same error with the newest version, the plugin wont load at all. Error: http://pastebin.com/1unsA5ES
@Jared333999
I'm not entirely sure if 1.4.7 had scoreboard, if it has, sure, why not
@amitlin14
Would it be possible to backport to 1.4.7 for FTB servers?
@BrMateus
A 1.2.5 version is impossible, since the scoreboard wasnt implemented yet
@Bjarnootjuh
I'll work on a fix
@3nd0fw0r1d
I'll work on a fix
This plugin conflicts with mcmmo, which also uses the scoreboard feature. Both override each-other when they trigger, and thus makes using /mcstats impossible.
@amitlin14
Woops, I just woke up then >,< I mean, it doesn't work with ScoreboardStats :)
Hi FurmigaHumana...
Hello,
I need a version of this plugin for 1.2.5 because I want to put on my server Tekkit.
FurmigaHumana and my friend, maybe that's why he asked for a version 1.2.5...
New version guys :D
Nice plugin :) is this open source? Kinda needing a 1.2.5 build...
you could use a little bit of reflection to get the EntityPlayer ping field, it is not that hard and wont break between minecraft version, just saying, I can help if you want, no credits needed. :)
Anyone would like to make a suggestion? :)
