Lol, it's like where I work. You post a support request and regularly check back to see if they fixed it. Then close your ticket yourself. Don't wait for a reply.

Guess it works if the support-department is under heavy load (which it is).

hey shadow: it's true we don't look over all of the tickets everyday.

I did test the sql injection the day it was posted and found it to be invalid. We use sql bind parameters and with those it's fairly impossible to inject sql.

The IE thing I remember people telling me about, I was running out the door at the time and forgot. it's been fixed now.

If you have any more issues please let me know.

Kaelten, don't mean to change the subject here, but if working on curseforge software, why isn't anyone looking at tickets anymore ? The navigation bar has disappeared in IE7 and I've had a ticket open for 2 weeks now without a reply. I mean, doesn't it sound major to you ? It's currently impossible to navigate Curesforge in IE7... http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curseforge/tickets/880/

You also have a ticket about a possible SQL injection vulnerability which has been left alone. Again, sounds pretty important to me. http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curseforge/tickets/904/

You keep saying to make tickets, so we do. Please at least look at them. I understant you're all busy, but there are a few big bugs that need looked into quickly.

I can see no harm in getting opt-ins set right now and then postponing the rest until due time.

nomad: no worries mate. I'm split between managing the client, curseforge, wowace, the rewards program and a lot of other tasks, luckily I don't have to do all the work on them. ;)

We're prioritizing in order of need. We want to launch the rewards program at the same time as we launch the pay for premium version of the client. And trust me we're actively working on the client and on curseforge's software as well.

The reason we have people signing up at this point is so that we can get more accurate data. It's needed to ensure that the generation method we're using is both fair and accurate.

Officespace also used the fraction stuff, but Superman 3 is a better reference. :)

Glad to see this is moving along. One question, Kaelton is also leading the client project (I believe). While it is important to get the rewards program going, are you sure you're not turning on a firehose here that your not yet ready to deal with?

I.e. I think the CC does need more work, and I hate to see that you guys do excellent work in bringing authors to curse, which then brings addon users to curse, which then use the Curse Client, and have an ok (not great) experience with it, and then get annoyed/frustrated, etc. Also, addon authors have some good comments around both the client and the repo/cvs, these aren't getting backburnered right?

I almost like to see the rewards program as frosting... the client and repo/cvs features are the cake imo.

Niiice, a very good incentive to those hard-working authors out there.
