The following link is to the latest build for CraftBukkit 1.4.6 you can download it there or wait for Bukkit to approve the file.
Note
If you use this in production on a public server it would be appreciated if you give the ip either through pm on in a comment because I would like to see this plugin in action on a real server.
Hey...i really like this plugin. Cna you add slime balls as one of the crafting recipe? That would be very helpful. Thanks!
@scgamer_99
There is a Crafting Plugin out there which has permission support already It's the first to actually support full fledge permissions http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/craftaxcel/
That is a nice idea but as far as i know with the bukkit api it is not possible.... however i will try to get something working for the next version.
well, what I was thinking is to give access to certain groups only and allow only certain things to be crafted, so for example group a and group b, give group a the ability to craft some items like webs or ores so that they can then sell to group b.
something like that, but blocking the ability to make bedrock would be nice, which I already can with pex, but still I can see a lot of applications if permissions where available for this plugin. A lot of RPG style applications especially. Having a blacksmith group that can craft ore blocks would give them a good item to sell, while a farmer rank could make grass blocks and mycelium would give them something to sell/trade
@scgamer_99
There are no permissions. It just adds crafting recipes ... what perms do you think there are?
Question, are there perms for this plugin?
@matthiasvd2
Thank you for the kind response!
Thx a great plugin for my server!
Hi, I was wondering, what is the name for the enchanting table? I can't seem to find it!
0.1.3 out! Updated to CB 1.4.6 however it should work with other versions. @TheCoryGuy Added new configuration option, see change log for details
@TheCoryGuy
That is because on start up to allow the disabling of recipes from the /reload command it resets all recipes to vanilla recipes (on /reload the recipes just stay added). If you want a can post an update to allow this feature to be disabled
NOTE:
Uncraftables is a great plugin! I've used it for quite a while! However, there is a "non-error" causing conflict with this and the newly ported, yet popular plugin Mo' Creatures and it's recipes.
Uncraftables disallows the creation of custom items within this plugin, as far as I can tell.
@john01dav
No problem, man. I can give you modified uncraftables.java. Knock my Skype sgp_the_controller or some else?
@xKahl
that is a possibility however it would be difficult to implement and considering the fact that there are a little over 200 vanila recipes in 1.4.5 that would be a massing config file
It would be sweet if you allowed us to disallow the crafting of some vanilla recipes, such as the enderchest.
@LaoTheLizard I looked at your link and saw some really nice new ideas fro recipes do you mind if add some of them to the actual plugin please reply?
{ sorry 4 my English } I set it up on my 1.4.2. It's really best thing I ever seen (except Minecraft itself).
But, "Grassblock" can't be so inexpensive, definitely. How about such recipe: 1 glowstone dust (light for growing process), 1 bone (manure), 1 dirt (base), 1 tall grass (donor, as you remember, you have to cut it by scissors). Of course, it must be shaped.
"Cobweb" is really good. Although you can appreciate it, too. How about 8 strings in a round for 1 web? We can't give them gifts in this cruel survival life.
"Bedrock" is a non-for-players block, definitely. And "Dragon Egg" they must get from the Dragon only, otherwise I don't see the sense of Minecraft. {Of course, two last points - is not so critical bug, while we can to turn it off in configuration file}
"String From Wool" seems even more than normal craft, due to classic reverse recipe. { Now we must be able to disintegrate our weapons, armors etc. to its components. :D (joke) }
"Diamond ore" - is the straight way to diamond doubling, if you have pickaxe with the "Fortune".
Redstone ore is completely justified. So you strongly must make lapis and coal ores by identic recipes. (As variant, recipe for diamond and emerald ores - no less than 3 items for 1 ore block, for the sake to argument, which you read some upper).
"Gunpowder" can't cost as here. How about 4 coals + 1 redstone (star scheme) for 1 gunpowder? Ok?
"Mycelium" is really rare was before - in net game where world is blocked-by-radius, as a rule. So can you "buy" it for 1 (!!!) mushroom?! You're really can't! My proposal is to complete recipe by adding 1 diamond block (yep, which 9 diamonds is) and, for example, 4 redstone torches by sides. If you'll wait, I can compose more refined one. :)
And you'll make the world happy, if your plugin will be a "fire" (block 51) within. My recipe for this: 1 irongot ingot + 1 gunpowder + 1 redstone.
In conclusion, I don't hope you'll make it better for me. I tried to decompile this plugin to make my own version. But I could not compile it back - I am really noviced in it. I will be grateful for your source files, if you'll lay it out here.
It looked some about it:
Update: I changed your plugin for my own server. You can see my new recipes here: http://laothelizard.no-ip.org/style/recipes.html I can give modified *.jar to each other. And I can give source-code to developer. Skype me (sgp_the_controller).
Can you please add the possibility to edit recipes?
Nice plugin!
