SignStatus
These signs can be customized however you want!
This plugins lets you easily create signs that allows you to show your players if a player is online or not through a sign. This can be useful for showing for example if your staff members are on and when they left. The signs can now be customized!
Features
- Create signs that show if a player is online or not
- Supports multiple signs
- Modify date format
- 1.8 support with UUID
How it works
- You create a sign of a player and when the player is logged on it says
- And then if the players logs off, it turns into
- You can configure the signs however you want.
- Yes I know that 19pm does not exist :P fixed in version 1.3.1. (image being replaced soon)
How to create a sign
- Install your plugin and start your server
- Configure the plugin however you want and type /signstatus
- Make sure you're op or have the permission signstatus.create
- Follow this format
Commands
- /signstatus This command saves your signs and reloads the config. (signstatus.reload)
Config
- version: do not touch this as it's used for detecting old configs
- prefix: allows you to choose what prefix to use when creating signs
- date-format: allows you to customize which date format to use
- online-sign: this can be used for configuring online signs
- %name% replaces with user name
- %date% replaces with the date format you have selected
- offline-sign: this can be used for configuring offline signs
- %name% replaces with user name
- %date% replaces with the date format you have selected
Notes
If you find a bug or have a suggestion, please tell me.
Please make it where you can choose to be offline or online like /ss offline me/ or /ss offline [name]
Or when you do /vanish you go offline so you can spy on players
hey, is it possible to make this work on bungeecord, so that in my lobby u can see wich staffmembers are online?
@SyTeck
I've send you the link to the files by PM.
Server is running CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-de459a2-51263e9 (MC: 1.10.2) (Implementing API version 1.10.2-R0.1-SNAPSHOT).
These errors only happens with players that have a status sign.
@gumgumpuntnl
Can you show me your config.yml and storage.yml files? Also what version of bukkit are you using? Does the error happen for all players or just the ones that have a status sign attached to them?
I'm still not able to reproduce the error..
@SyTeck
Thanks for the update, but the error's remain the same.
These occur when a player joins and leaves the server.
The storage.yml was made new at my previous message, so i don't think that's the problem.
When you create a sign, it work OK and show's you are online, but when you leave and join again the error occurs and the sign shows that you are offline and the last date.
@gumgumpuntnl
I updated it to 1.10. I didn't manage to reproduce the bug though. Could you explain how you managed to produce these errors?
For now you can try deleting the storage.yml inside the config folder. That should probably fix it.
Please update this plugin for 1.10.2.

@CraftYourWay
Not tested but probably and no. Might start working on it soon though.
does this work in 1.9 and is there already support for bungeecord?
Install vault and essentialsX with this plugin it helped me get it working. :)

@DrkMatr1984
Good idea, I'll look into it.
You should add BungeeCord support! The bungee API is not that much different and all you would have to do is add an option in the config.yml for bungeecord and then retrieve the list of online players from BungeeCord's API.
Hi, i have maybe do wrong, but it dont work for me. its installed and everything.
i write [ss] at first line on a sign
and my minecraftname on second line.
whats wrong?
@MurlocElite
Are you sure you followed the format fully?
Line 1: [ss] Line 2: Murloc1337
If it doesn't work, could you show me your config?
Hello! i dont work no more? i do [ss] Murloc1337
or do i make something wrong?
Version 1.3 is out!
This update includes full customization and some bug fixes.
@PedrinhoDev
Working on it ;)
@erik1988
I'll add a screenshot of it, but it does not convert after they have been offline for a set amount of time, it just gets the time they logged of and converts it into characters with the date format you can configure in the config.
About hooking into that plugin, I don't see how I would get that to work because my plugin only tells you if they are online or not, not how long they've played on your server. I could maybe make another plugin for this if you'd like.
Please add something for customising the signs! :D
I would love to use this on my server if this feature was added!
Maybe you can show a screenshot how it looks when players are offline, im curious to see how that time since last online works. will it convert to days when its been a long time. Like "1d12h" (one day and twelve hours)?
Could you make it work with bungeecord by make it hook into the MYSQL of BungeeOnlineTime (http://www.spigotmc.org/resources/bungeeonlinetime.795/)?
@JimiRebeld
What do you mean?
