sharemarket
Sharemarket
The plugin requires vault and an economy-plugin!
General
Sharemarket adds a virtual stock-exchange. You can buy/ sell (virtual) shares of ressources. The price of each share is calculated by the rate of blocks being destroyed in a certain period and some other factors like buying or selling shares. It is possible to earn much money if you are skilled. In our latest version (1.1) variable shares are supported. That means you can choose every block as a share you want. Blocks like water or monsterspawner may not be chosen but if you want you can do this.
How to install
To install sharemarket download the latest version, or whatever version you want. Downloadlink at the right →
- Download the sharemarket.jar file
- Check if you have the right bukkit version (Below the link you see which version sharemarket need)
- Drive to your plugins folder at your bukkit server
- Simply drag and drop the jar to your server
- Restart your server
- Now sharemarket works at your server

Bug with sings that are not build for sharemarket should be fixed. (An error was thrown if you click on a sign that isnt a sharemarket sign).
We´re really sorry for that, cause we dont think about this as we test v 1.2 before.
Please tell us if it works with 1.2.1
@squall2933
should work with 1.2 if you get a new error pls create a ticket. it is easier to solve the problem with a ticket.
@Verci2
I get no error message, just a sign that says this:
sharemarket buy LOG 1
Currently on vacation support again in 2-3 weeks
@squall2933
You got any error message when you try to click or build signs?
SQL is a database, its faster than saving data via files f.e
Everything seems okay now, except after a while the signs will be unclickable, and I cannot create more signs. I don't even know what SQL is.

Config file has changed from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 (so you have two files). I cant test all version for every command etc atm because i dont have much time. Also im on vacation now, so support could be take some more time.
Updating to 1.1.1 without delete sharemarket folder could caused some of your issues.
Crops is the original name for the id 59/ cause we support every block now we use these original names.
Are you using SQL? This may is also a reason for issues exspecally in version 1.1.1.
Sorry if you dont understand, its late here and im tired. Look at it tommorow.
Verci2
Well, I was using the v.1.0.2 when I was having the issue. I updated to the v1.1.1 and now I can't make signs. I have tried the following ways:
sharemarket buy diamond 1
sharemarket buy 56 1
sharemarket buy DIAMOND_ORE 1
none of which seem to be working. Using the /smbuy command works, but the automatic signs for whatever reason aren't.
Also, when I buy diamond shares using the /smbuy command, on my signs for other shares (coal, wood, lapis, etc) it increases the share count.
Upon looking at the config file, it seems that there were two config files, Config.yml and config.yml. I deleted both and reloaded the plugin and it worked fine for a moment. Then I went to go do some other things, came back to try to place another sign and it stopped working again. So now I tried deleting the plugin folder and reloading the plugin, and it's working again. Not really sure what's going on.
Also, I would love for the signs to say "wheat" instead of "crops". Crops is somewhat vague and could imply all farmable items instead of just wheat.
I have not modified the config file in any way shape or form, so pasting it would be somewhat moot; it is the original config file that came with the plugin.
@squall2933
Pls create a ticket or send me your logfile / config. And a test with 1.1.1 would be great. Its hard to fix an error if i cant reproduce it and do not even have an error message.... But if you help me i think this error should be fixed fast ;)
I'm having the same problem EvilImperator is having. Would appreciate a fix. Can provide server IP if you'd like to see the problem on my server.
@EvilImperator
Ok i try to reproduce and fix this bug, thanks for reporting.
Hey, nice plugin, but i cant get dividende automaticly... and the price would be the same every time...
@Swyzen
At the moment we have "buy" and "sell" signs. with these signs you are able to buy/sell shares via rightclick. This function is also available with variable shares but may cause an error when you use it with names larger than 15 characters. (f.e. Redstonelamp_off).
We have two signs because the price to sell or buy is not the same.
I hope this answer your question.
Do you think you can make it usable via signs, much like signshop where you right click to buy and left click to sell? I can't wait for this to be 1.6.2, I love these kinds of mods :D
@Nefiron
Yes at the moment im working on it. I cant say when it will be, cause bukkit 1.6.2 is only at development stage.
Will an update be out for 1.6.2 soon? :)
@TehBeginner
Permission to use signs : sm.sign.use.*
If you want to buy/ sell:
sm.sign.use.buy
sm.sign.use.sell
or sm.sign.use.view/totalshare to use other signs..
sm.buy is just to use the command /smbuy 10 coal for example
Fixed the permissions for my users exept for the usage of signs, is there a special permission node for buying/selling from signs or is it "sm.buy / sm.sell" for those too?
Currently working at variable shares. Will be possible to add/remove every block as share you want.
