Pigasus
Watch out, pigs will fly after you install this plugin. At spawn, a configurable percentage of mobs will take off and fly around. The effect works very well for chickens, and is pretty funny with pigs. A saddled flying pig can even be ridden, if you can catch it. Other mobs can fly too, if configured, although your mileage may vary. Watch out for flying ninja creepers.
Features:
- Flying mobs
- Separate configs per world
- Configurable wand to make a mob fly ("pigasus.wand" permission required)
- Per mob type wand support, using "pigasus.wand.<mobtype>" permission node
This video from OfficialK4G does a great job of showing off how mobs fly with Pigasus. Keep in mind that they have turned everything up to eleven for this video. :) Thank you OfficialK4G!
Installation:
Drop the Pigasus.jar file into your Bukkit plugins directory and restart/reload the server. A default config.yml file will be created in the plugins/Pigasus folder, with all tweaks disabled by default. Update the config.yml file and restart/reload your server to activate the tweaks.
Config file:
- WandItem: Right-click a mob holding this item to cause it to fly
- Worlds: This section define which worlds can have flying mobs, which types are allowed, and what the likelihood is that a flying mob will spawn. Here is the default config for this section:
This means that in the world named "world", flying pigs will have a 10% chance of spawning, and flying chickens will have a 25% chance. No other mobs will fly.Worlds: world: Pig: 10 Chicken: 25
Supported flying mobs: Pig, Chicken, Cow, Sheep, Wolf, Squid, Zombie, Skeleton, Spider, Creeper, Slime, PigZombie (use these names in the config file) Let me know if you think other mobs should be allowed to fly.

Updating?
Hi, is it possible to make Squids fly but not die out of water and make them shoot fireballs. This could be a separate plugin. Thanks.
@ManBeastPigDev
Yes.
Is it still working with 1.4.7?
Hello,
Could you maybe link this with WorldGuard so the mobs can't fly in certain WorldGuard regions?
Because it's really annoying when the mobs fly in MobArena which prevents you from killing the bosses.
Could you make it so that mobs (mainly animals) spawned via breeding are not affected by this plugin, or are given a separate fly-chance?
Is there any way to steer pigs vertically while using this plugin?
Anyway you can get it to be disabled in Mob Arena?
We've been using this plugin for over a year now and it works great! We use it solely for pigs, but I'd love to see flying villagers/witches on other servers. Keep up the good work!
1.4.6 ???
could I have a paste of a working config file of flying pigs and flying chickens, I can't seem to get the config right without corrupting it Awesome Plugin!
@redsgreens
Thanks! If you have any other plugins you would like us to review, please tell us!
Thanks again!
@OfficialK4G
Great video :) I added it to the page and liked/subscribed too. Thanks!
Helllo Redsgreens. Me and my group, K4G, made a video showcasing your plugin. We would really appreciate if you would put it up on the plugin page, if you like it of course!
Thanks from everyone at OfficialK4G. http://bit.ly/WtfB8B
@UrNowKoed
Thanks. It's fixed :)
Awesome plugin!!
In the "installation" section of this post, it says "manysmalltweaks" instead of "pigasus". Not too big of a deal, just thought I'd let you know, in case you wanted to change it. :)
@redsgreens
Nicely done :D
@Jason0123
I just uploaded Pigasus version 0.2.2 that has "pigasus.wand.<mobtype>" permission support. Still no economy support, though. Not sure I'll find the time to add that.
I got one other idea, you could add optional economy support through vault where there is a configurable amount that it costs to make a mob fly. This means that you could make so there is a limit to the amount of mobs that someone can make fly. Just an idea :).
@Jason0123
This is a good idea. I added it to the todo list and I'll work on it when I have a chance. Thanks.
