What is MineQuest?
MineQuest is a customizable roleplaying plugin. It contains fully customizable abilities, classes, and quests. You can gain experience and level up to increase your abilities and use addons to MineQuest to create your custom experience. And best of all, MineQuest comes with instanced dungeons support built right into its Core. Oh, and Javascript support.

Quests:
Quests can range from simple gather missions, where the players must gather an amount of a resource, to massive dungeons and giant boss fights. This allows players to design and share their Quests with the masses. With help of our quest design helper, players can design Quests to create whatever they want.
Parties:
MineQuest also contains a party system. Any quester can create a party at any time, but they are only really used for entering Quests. When a quest is started MineQuest will attempt to bring an entire players party with them. A quester can create a party with the following command.

To Report an Issue or Problem:
Please open a thread on our website, at theminequest.com. Be sure to include:
- Which version of Minequest and Minequest add-ons are active.
- A brief but accurate description of the problem.
- A link to a server log pasted to either pastebin.com and pastie.com
- A list of plugins that are currently installed on the server.
Is this still active or...?
Is there NPC support where you can give NPC created quests?
Took me 1 day and 15 hours. Not to bad.
I'm going to have to restart the update because my laptop broke. I'll work hard, maybe get this done within a week.
Oh god kill me now! 6,356 ERRORS HOLY SHIT!
I'm working on an update for 1.8
EDIT: Over 300 errors, this may take a few days...
does this plugin work and can it be set to kill a certain npc
1.7.9 update please!
Hey, any news on this plugin as the build server seems to be down and a working version would be epic?
It Don't Works 1.7.2 please Update Snapshot New or Beta .....
Before I download it - is this plugin compatible with MCPC+??
@MERCHANToDEATH
Not right now, but I can add that for the next milestone, if you'd like. Edit: just added SetSpawnEvent, which will appear in the next milestone.
I like what I see in this plugin, but I'm wondering if there is a way to set up checkpoints by setting up new spawn locations for the party as they enter certain areas? I don't see anything for that in the quest helper except the basic spawn point setting.
Milestone 2 has been sent for approval.
In the meantime, have a quick look at a Javascript quest named "test.jsq":
Progress is moving slow due not only to exams, but also my involvement with the OpenMandriva Association.
But ignoring that, Milestone 2 is essentially complete, save for good Javascript support.
The testing that's been done by users has been extraordinary, and I really thank you guys for it. I know it seems like I'm not active at times, but your usage has really been helping me push on with it, in light of my other duties.
So, what's left? Well, if you're not using Javascript, Milestone 2 is done for you. PM me if you want a link to said Milestone 2. If you want to try the Javascript functionalities, I still have to implement events and utilities, as well as pausing and other functions. I'll get back to you on that.
But soon, Milestone 2 will make its way into the spotlight.
@robxu9
No worries! I appreciate you speaking with me on the chat :D Was just starting to panic as I'm trying to set up an RPG style server, yet I don't have any quests XD people are getting bored while they're waiting :( And this is the best quest plugin that's user friendly to me. It's going to do exactly what I need it to do..... but I just need that bug fixed :( I'll gladly donate to help this plugin keep going once it's working :D
@Kirstiana
Responded to you on the forums. Sorry for not responding earlier :)
I've posted my code on the forums and the "live" support chat. Could anyone please help? Desperate to get this plugin working. It doesn't even have to be the developer that needs to answer -_- can anyone just confirm they've got this thing working?
I am so completely frustrated lol. I thought I'd have a simple quest of just teleporting a player to a simple spot after entering a region once they finished talking to an NPC I made -_- but I keep getting this Error:
WARNING [Common|V1Handler] Unable to handle Target at stonewall.quest:6
and the Teleport just doesn't want to work. I've looked at other people's example quests and I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything different. I've defined a target, and set that teleport event to pull the players from that AreaTarget.... and it just doesn't want to work :( help.
Update (03 Sept. 2013, 1600)
I've been taking a look at the Lua and Javascript runtimes for Java (LuaJ and Rhino, respectively), and since Lua and Javascript are neck-in-neck in the polls, I took the liberty of being the tiebreaker and choosing Javascript for now.
My reasons are twofold:
If anyone has any tips for LuaJ implementation, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Otherwise, Javascript it is!
