Can you add an option to change the Attack Speed of items? :)

It is possible to do things like this, but it requires saving the placed blocks' location and overriding the dropped item's code when you break it. Basically, instead of dropping STONE, you force it to cancel the drop event and instead drop a Stone block name &3Oxygen Generator, or whatever.
PreciousStones does something along these lines, but it doesn't have the same functionality.
I have to admit, this would be a really cool feature if Itemizer could save the data of placed blocks (perhaps require a defined line of lore), so they retain the lore and attributes when broken.

@Tainted_Chimera
Item != Block.
When stone is in your inventory it is an Item. When stone is placed it is a Block.
Completely two different things.
If you name a block, place it, then break it-it reverts back to it's original name. Not sure if that's something that can be fixed?
The version modified by XSilverSlayerX does not work for me on 1.8.3. It has the same problem as the original version by mncat77. It's also MUCH smaller then the original. Seems suspicious.
Nice plugin, but, please update it to 1.8.
I'm making a custom map, but have no experience with command blocks. If I use this, and put it on a server without the plugin, will the potion effects stay?
Thanks XSilverSlayerX for updating Itemizer to version 1.8.3. I just tried it on Spigot 1.8.8 and it works perfectly.

Hello, I have taken the liberty of updating Itemizer to version 1.8. It was currently tested using CraftBukkit 1.8.7 so I am not sure what versions it specifically works with.
Uploaded to Dropbox feel free to pick it up by clicking HERE
I now understand why the updates are so scarce D:
Hope this is okay with mncat77 ;)
Hi! It dosn't seem they will update the plugin, so: If you need 1.8 support you can use my plugin SimpleRename: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/simple-rename/
:D I hope this is not spam
Any news on when this will be updated to 1.8?
Willl this allow me to rename all of the items? Say i want to re-name all emeralds to money since i am using an emerald currency. Or would it only re-name the ones in my hand? if not, is there a plugin that allows this?
@baksovic111
Why not upload it here or to Spigot?
Update Spigot 1.8 R1
