ItemID
Quickly search for and access block and item information. ItemID automatically updates its data file with each new release, so you don't need to download a new version of the plugin with each new Minecraft update.
This is a plugin originally by lonelydime. Due to lack of free time, he was unable to maintain his plugins. I have taken ItemID up to help him out. (refer to this thread)

This doesn't tell you the sub ID, for example, with potions or dyed armor.
@coolo1
Sorry, can you please tell me what is not working? The plugin is built to be relatively future-proof and nothing major has changed.
Needs to be updated to 1.2.5r3
@deleted_8039704
Just for reference, the recently released version 1.2.1 has fixed the issue.
New build works right, thanks!

Rename the plugin data folder (contained under root/plugins/) from "ItemId" to "ItemID". It's a minor bug that I should be fixed in the latest plugin snapshot (available here although the site is currently down). A proper update will be released soon.
I tried your mod on dev build 1533 and 1565, the mod wont start as it cant find the xml file? The file is in the right spot where the path says it is, it just wont read it.

The /find command supports data values for wool, saplings, steps, and quite a few other items. When Minecraft was released, I went through the data file to check for any missing blocks or items. I didn't add all of the types potions because the data values for each potion had not been found yet. Currently the plugin just lists the main potion item as "Potion". I will add them when I get this information! :)
You can look at the data file here
Does it only work for blocks or will it get items like Tools, Potions? Will it be able to find damage values for items? eg Wool or Potions
@TexasGamer
Works perfectly! Thanks TexasGamer!

Thanks for the feedback! It's comments like these that keep me going. :)
As far as the issue goes, I've pushed a change out to the repo. You can re-enable the auto updates so you won't miss out on new revisions. Please let me know if the issue persists.
Thank you for maintaining this awesome plug-in, gets heavy use on my server. Just wanted to let you know that with the Minecraft 1.0 build and all CraftBukkit builds thus far your plug-in gets disabled at server boot due to the generated XML file. To get the plug-in working I had to disable auto-updates in the config and then delete the utf encoding in the XML prolog.
Keep up the good work!
