A workaround is being worked on.

- Kick, ban, IP-ban or range-ban players
- Temporarily ban or IP-ban players
- Automatically punish players that are blacklisted by DNSBL services
- Warn players and execute commands after a certain amount of warnings
- Get notified when two players with the same IP adress join or compare IPs manually per command
- Lock IPs to a single name
- Recieve a list of all players and their IPs from the console
- Make players immune to all commands or whitelist them to protect them from bans
- Check a player's status including warnings, kicks, bans, temporary bans and more
- Send players information about their own warnings whenever they login
- Purge a player's data with a simple command
- Fully costumizable messages for everything including broadcasts
- Only explicit autocomplete for safer administration
- Update notifications

Information on further development
Hey guys, DJ Addi here. With version 1.3.0 the plugin reached a point where I'd say it is more or less finished. If there are bugs or important features that require an update I will release a new version as fast as possible (without waiting for stuff to pile up). However, it is unlikely that new big features will be added (unless I really like them so keep the suggestions coming).
Stay tuned for updates on the release of DynamicBan 2.0.
Currently working on:
- Cleaning up database code, adding missing comments to other classes
- Moving ban-types to separate tables to allow future scalability (We cannot easily append missing fields, but we can add on missing tables if a new feature is added).
Why no updates ??
I used to like this plugin a lot and have had it on my servers back in the days it was still active. Unfortunately with all the changes in the last few versions there is a lot to be re-written to get it up to date ( I would but I dn't code myself).
A good alternative is now AdvancedBan.
I use this now and give support if needed on their main site.
@Bodyash
Yeah, I can see why it is frustrating for you, but what you don't seem to understand is that Spigot didn't change anything in the API, they just modified how player IDs work in the backend. Adapting to that change would mean to completely seperate Bukkit and Spigot code, which is something that I do not want to do.
If somebody wants to take care of it, sure, here's the source code. The problem most likely is within the class UUIDCache. Have fun!
last update 1 year ago
plz, need update to Spigot 1.8
API not changed hard
How about deathbans? doesn't seem to be any good plugins for temporary death bans!

Dynamicban for Spigot 1.8?
@djaddi
I'm sorry to hear that.
I love this plugin. There are not many good ban plugins.
How long we should to wait for mysql support? We rly need it for our bungeecord server
@djaddi
Do I need to restart my server or just do /drl?
@dvargas135
Go to the config, set force_offline_players to true.
Is there any way to remove the message on every join "Your UDID is being fetched"?
ANYONE?
@gumgumpuntnl
I'm still around, but to be honest I don't have enough time on my hands to deal with problems that Spigot has although Bukkit doesn't.
Any update for Spigot 1.8 ?
I will patiently wait for a current spigot compatible version. Meanwhile my bans and mutes look horrible =(
@Done84
Thing is that the core API was changed to UUIDs, so you always need them, no matter if you want them or not. You even need them for offline mode.
@djaddi
Maybe a version for those of us that dont need uuid? please? Chances are... online-mode cof, cof, based server dont really have much need for a advanced ban system... most people using your plugin are cof, cof, offliners =)
@Done84
Good question. Spigot seems to be doing some weird stuff that breaks UUID based kicks and I still don't know why.
