Auto Delete
Auto Delete
If you want to keep your server clean, after using a self-protection plugin (like PreciousProtect, ProtectionStones, etc.) then this is the plugin for you! Using WorldGuard integration, you can specify the time a user must be inactive before it deletes the region. This only deletes the REGION within WorldGuard, not the actual in-game buildings within it.Features
- Auto deletes regions people make
- Every region made will be timed, UNLESS specified within the exclusion file
- You can specify the Inactive Time
Permissions
autodelete.check - Give this to the players you WANT to be checked for inactivityNOTE: Whoever DOESN'T have the permission node above, will NOT be checked, as in, their region will not be deleted.
Config
#Give Players autodelete.check for permission to check their activityInactiveAmount: 360.00 #This time is in hours, so 1 = 1 Hour, 1.5 = 1 Hour 30 Minutes, 360 Hours = 15 Days
PlayerExclusions: #Doesn't Currently Work!
- AhellHound
- AdminPlayer
- middleton
Exclusions: #Doesn't Currently Work!
- region two
PlayerTimes: # DO NOT EDIT THIS
Plans
- Add region and exclusions to config
- Only region member and owner deletion, instead of region deletion
I've set the project to abandoned, to work on a different project instead. This is for a few other reasons, as well. 1. The way WorldGuard stores regions, the owner is not record unless explicitly done through a command. This poses a few issues, such as is the region creator the owner? (meaning, the owner could be recorded as the owner,) or do I require the owner to set each region a owner, which becomes more cumbersome. This then leads me to question why admins won't use PlotMe, an advanced plot manager plugin that I've used on my servers as well.
2. I started the project over a year ago, and it was relatively popular compared to my other plugins during their first week. However, now other plugins, such as plotme, have come up and I highly recommend it, as it contains this plugins features, and then some.
If WorldGuard stores regions differently later on, I will continue the project, but if anyone would like to take this project on, see the box in red above on how to.
Thanks!
Its been over a year since I looked at this plugin, and I'll just rewrite it with more features.
Please, follow the plan for 1.5.2: - Only region member and owner deletion, instead of region deletion
@Ahellhound
Hello. Can you delete "Inactammount" and "cit" messages when player joins? It generate too much spam in console and chat.
@Hulipill
This plugin doesn't touch/mess with chunks, it hooks into WorldGuard and deletes regions, which are listed in the WorldGuard folder. Editing regions is very complicated, especially the raw files of the chunks.
@Ahellhound Yes, more or less, but I'm confused between chunks and region files (r0.0.mca) Also, will this delete existing chunks in the world? Example, I have reset my map and I start my server with this plugin, there is an existing 120 chunk spawn, will this be deleted if it hasn't been modified?
@Hulipill
When I implement the 'exclusion' field, this will be for regions you don't wish to be deleted. (If this isn't what you meant, please elaborate :))
@Ahellhound I'd really like it if this plugins could have a link-up with worledit, to select a region and whitelist it so it can't be removed.
@tommymortago
I currently ran into a big issue with my other plugin, Fly Payment, so once that has been resolved, I'll focus on Auto Delete once again.
Nice plugin.. when do you plan to add exclusions? :)
@crysis992
I'll add a feature, like mode 1 and mode 2, that does your feature and the current features.
Thanks for the feedback, AhellHound
Could you add the feature that it delete only the region owner and members, but not the region itself.
Since I use worldguard regions for my plots in the city, and I dont want the region to be removed. Just the owner and the members.
But nice plugin, was looking for such a plugin for ages :)
