Hello everyone. Zombz Is a Zombie modification plugin, and it modifies many Aspects of Zombies in the game. Zombz is a very new project, and it is actually my first plugin. Zombz is more of a smaller and more simple version of a bigger project that i am working on. But even though it is smaller, and simpler, that does not mean there wont be many features Included with Zombz, and that doesn't mean it is not gonna be a fantastic plugin. There is no Commands For now, Options are edited through the config.
The possibilities are almost endless when using Zombz. It is a great thing to add to any server, and With Multiworld Support, you don't have to run it on worlds you don't want to, And you can just run it on a Special Zombz World. Here are some of the current Features, and upcoming features:

Zombz Information
Features:
- Zombie Damage Modification
- Zombies Will not burn during day.
- Zombie will spawn on player death
- On Zombie Damage The player is blinded for an amount of time
- Blindness duration can be set in config
- Zombies can now spawn in groups, and the numbers can be configured in the config
- Zombies can also spawn in random numbers in the group
- There's now a readme file
- Zombie Spawns with players inventory upon death.
- MultiWorld Setup
- Only Zombies Mode
- Customizable Exp Drop on Zombie Death
- Many more to come!

About "Only Zombies" Mode
Only Zombies Mode is What the name says it is. Any mob other than a zombie that spawns will become a zombie. This includes all mobs, and also mobs in the nether and end too. In upcoming versions, you will be able to define which mobs you want to be replaced, but as of now Only Zombies mode will Make any mob spawn other than Zombie become a zombie. This is great for Hardcore Zombie servers, but can sometimes get in the way. Stay updated, and in upcoming versions, Only Zombies mode WILL be more customizable.
Config Updating
There is an option to update the config automatically. If it is set to true, then whenever there is a new update, the config will be automatically updated to the latest version. This will overwrite any of your old config settings. You can always disable this setting, as it is just optional, and for ease of use.
Java 6 Version
From now until whenever, there will be a Java 6 version of The plugin Alongside the other version. The java 6 version will be labeled, and if you look in the Files section you should be able to see it there.

Just like every single other zombie plugin in the world, it doesn't work in any way.
Ummm a piece of advice, don't use squid spawning to determine where the zombies spawn cos it makes hordes of them spawn in the water. Could you change that?
my plugin won't load, saying it has invalid characters in the java
Well, I have a bug in my version where there is a group of Zombies spawning when people enter the Nether. I believe this is due to the check .contains(WorldName) so I'm going to throw in && !WorldName.contains("nether"). I'm not sure though since WorldName should return world_nether, which isn't in the config and shouldn't pass true anyways. I won't be able to test the build until later since people are on my server this morning already and I don't have a dev server setup for this. If this doesn't work I might try a check using .getEnvironment()
Anyhow, I just thought I'd run it past you in case you have an ideas on where I could be going wrong. :)

Well, you don't have to bother with my requests anymore because I finally managed to get Eclipse working and compiled a new version with the changes I wanted! Thank you very much for making this plugin and especially for making it open source! Without your code being shared (and Curses' great tutorial on making plugins :P) I would never have been able to make this happen.

Naturally I will not distribute the version I compiled out of respect for your work and intellectual property. Besides that I like being the only person now to have this version ;)

Is it possible to disable the damage modification altogether so that it allows variable damage? I did a test to see if the 1.5 variable damage is working and it is not.
I just did a test and all the Zombies are dropping 2 dirt blocks and a chain helm. Can we just disable changes to the drop table as well? I'm afraid both of these problems seem to issues that I can't correct just by editing the config and therefore I still cannot use this plugin even though I want to.
If I had to chose one additional feature to add, I think it would be nice to be able to increase the probability that zombies will spawn wearing armor or a sword, and perhaps a chance for it to be diamond armor or sword. Mostly though, I would like the damage and drop table problems fixed or I can't use this plugin no matter what other features you add. :P

Most of the things you said you didn't want can be configured in the Config.yml. And the Zombies in water bug only comes when you use only zombies mode, and it decides to replace all squids with zombies, That will be fixed in the next update too. But I am still adding some updates and new features to it. What are some specifics you would like to see? Your welcome, And thank you for the feedback too. :)

I second this suggestion. I am interested in using this only for the group spawn feature, however I do not want to ruin the way that 1.5 now uses Zombie HP to do variable damage, do not want blindness, do not want to replace other mobs (which is the cause of the spawn in water bug?), do not want Zombies during the day, do not want player Zombies, do not want to modify drops, etc.
I have forked your code on Github just so that I can play around with it myself but admittedly I have very little experience in this so I really only did that to get your attention.
Thank you for your contribution to Bukkit dev, I hope at some point this plugin is something I can use on my own server if it ever has suitable functionality.
Yes, I tried to run with Java 6 on how much I have Windows Xp but that did not work!

Have you tried the Java 6 Version? It was just recently release, and it should work. I haven't tested it though So i am not totally sure. Any feedback would be nice on how it works.

I just uploaded a java 6 version. It is in the process of approval, I haven't tested it, but please get back to me on how it works out.

That Is something I realized could be a problem too. In the next Version This Should be configurable So If you want Zombies to spawn in water or not you can customize it.

It is not compatible with the 1.5 update please do a your plugin is the best!
