Overview
VoxelSniper is the premier long range map editing tool for Minecraft. This mod allows you to edit any block that you can see using an arrow (for replacing) and a gunpowder (for adding). It is best used by those with a strong attention to detail and fits a wide array of applications, from making detailed edits to structures with the snipe brush, to making massive terraforming jobs a breeze with some of the earth shattering soft selection tools.
Metrics
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- The number of Snipers/LiteSnipers online
- The number of times Brushes are used
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

so what are the permissions
@Iwitrag
First, I don't really think the authors care about you downloading their plugin.
But anyway, there's a mirror in the comment below yours to the wiki: http://kraftzone.net/wiki/VoxelSniper
No documentation = no download This plugin seems to be dead for newcomers
@PhanaticD
There are permissions for Voxel Sniper, however the voxelwiki unfortunately do no longer have the documentation, here is one copy from another community: http://kraftzone.net/wiki/VoxelSniper
@TWSSYesterday
You can't have several materials in one ball. You can however replace several materials with one material. You do this by utilizing the voxel list /vl.
You add materials to the list by:
- /vl <block:datavalue> <block:datavalue> <block:datavalue> (... as many as you like)
- Look at a block and do /vl
You remove blocks from the list by:
- /vl -<block:datavalue>
- Remove everything from the list /vl clear
You can either use the list as blocks to be replaced with i.e. /b b nm,
or blocks to be excluded from replacement by i.e. /b b xm.
So if you want to have a ball with many materials blended together:
- Place a ball of one of the materials you want to use
- /b sb nm
- /vl <material the ball was made of>
- /v <new material of your choice> and click on the ball
- /vl <the new material you added to the ball>
- /v <new material of your choice> and click on the ball
And just repeat until you got all the materials in there.
are there no permission nodes o.O
Development Builds didin't work with Spigot 1.8
@gabizou
Thanks, I'm sure the rewrite will be amazing.
@TWSSYesterday
We're still writing the back end to create brushes. Deamon (one of the contributors) has written a very nice library for scripting nodes (the new internals of what makes a brush) and we've been rather busy getting it to work while being platform agnostic (not just Minecraft, but imagine seeing VoxelSniper for StarMade or something like Space Engineers).
As I've said before, VS is under a huge rewrite and will be a little while longer before we will have feature parity of what VS had prior.
Wiki = 404 not found
@Zahach
It will be a while. You can follow development at Gunsmith's Repository
@gabizou
WOW! Sounds amazing :D Can't wait... How much time left?
We're in the process of rewriting VoxelGunsmith (the API for VoxelSniper) and in effect, VoxelSniper itself.
@Zahach
We will have support for creating your own brushes through a new node system of "shapes", "selections", and "effects". We'll be taking our time with this to make sure the API (Gunsmith) is perfected for implementation on multiple platforms.
Hi guys, I'm a Voxel Sniper pro, I think i can give myself that title, if the following question isnt too dumb. I master almost every skill in VS but ONE thing has gone through my mind, id it possible to input multiple voxels? Multiple block types for the scatter brushes? Thanks!
@TheSimpZone
Yea, it changed, for some reason. http://kraftzone.net/wiki/VoxelSniper
How do you change block type to red stained hardened clay? Any minecraft id list would say red stained hardened clay is 159:14, but when I do /v 159:14, VoxelSniper returns "Invalid Input". Doing /vi 159:14 returns the same. Thanks.
Can thank me ....

Does anyone have a link to the wiki? None of the wiki/documentation links work for me, they give a 404 not found (or link to the site which has no documentation. Thanks
I'm trying to create a splatter brush to replace grass with podzol (3:2) and it's not working, instead it just replaces with regular dirt.
The commands I'm using are:
/b svd
/v 3
/vi 2
/vr 2
Can anyone explain to me what my issue is?
The data value seems to save but then it's not working.
Thanks.
