Possible Future Features

Note: These are just ideas others or myself have had about future features, they are by no means things that will definitely be implemented. Think of it as an idea page. Feel free to comment on this page with new ideas or to cast your support for an idea listed here .

  • Use storage minecarts as ammo-carrying turrets. You can still man them too (because manning a turret doesn't involved actually entering the vehicle).
  • Allow turrets to be connected to "hanging" fence posts and be inverted turrets.
  • Homing arrows. Arrows that track and hit their target. Every time.
  • Option for activating turrets to cost money.
  • Option for certain ammo types to require redstone power to be fired.
  • Have option for turret to be dispenser instead of minecart (this might not be possible due to aiming limitations for dispensers).
  • Add DisguiseCraft support.
  • Add sign-based targetting, so the turret only shoots down what you want it to shoot down.
  • Add option in config for turrets to require/not require redstone power by default.
  • Add option to require reloading of turrets after configurable number of shots.
