Usage
Create a Portal:
1. Build a portal like this one:
The blocks on top of the portal encode the portals channel. The bottom of the portal has to consist of diamond blocks (or whatever Material you have set in the config).
2. Activate/register the portal
Do this by right-clicking one of the diamond blocks while holding a compass.
Travel
As soon as you have registered two portals on the same channel, you can travel by walking through them.
