Presenting SUPER SKY BROS. Brawl, a new plugin designed to allow the common server owner the ability to create the similar game play experience from the SCB servers, but with your own features and ideas. Almost every aspect of this plugin will be customizable by you, the server administrator.
What is Super Sky Bros Brawl?
Super Sky Bros. is played in an arena of 4 to 8 people. The players all choose unique classes in the lobby to arm themselves against the other players. The classes are all themed after different mobs in Minecraft. Once the match starts, the players are teleported into an arena, where they must fight it out to be the winner of the match! Every player has five lives, and once you run out of lives, you're out of the game. The last man standing wins, and with the title of winner comes the gloating.

Features

Hi just like to let you know I am back online after some personal issues and also, we had a storm that left our house without power for 5 days. This is one of the downsides of living in the country miles from anywhere, they always leave you last to fix things. As requested I will put together a section on the website that I will detail current progress in different areas of the plugin. A big issue with making a single plugin that works on both dedicated SSB servers and in mixed servers where you run it with other plugins is that the amount of features it includes (leveling system, boss bar, unique weapons) require so much CPU that mixed servers with other big plugins (Factions, multiworld/multiverse, Towny, etc.) will just get bogged down. An example would be:
You have factions on a server. When a player:
- chats, SSB will check if the chat needs to be processed by SSB
- places a block, SSB will check if that needs to be cancelled if it's in a SSB world
- dies, SSB needs to decide if SSB should broadcast that to SSB players
- Much more

Development build will return as soon as the next approved version is out at some point I want everybody using the same version till then.
Known bugs:
- Users without Java 7 will have errors
- Please note this plugin is not finished yet
- This means signs, classes, and gameplay won't work yet.

Code one thing and find you need to counter it with some block code for example. Please ppl don't think there is some secret release as there isn't. The reason it is taking the time is that I am using this project to build a framework at the same time. I made this clear from the start. I realize ppl are excited for it but not until I am happy with it. Also just so ppl are aware the first release contains everything to set the game up and MultiWorld support and Multi Lang support it is not playable at this min. decided going to make a quick vid showing everything and how robust it is and also so you know their is actually a plugin in progress.

Simple you have not set it up write you have to close the ports using a firewall the actual servers are running on or you can just direct connect. Just leave open the Bungee Port

We seem to have a bit problem on Ghost Hunt and Survival server they both got griefed... If anyone knows of to disable offline mode with Bungee Cord but still connected to the other servers please post a comment,pm or skype thank you very much for reading.

The source is already on Github now. Why would I put it on Enjin ? Sorry not going on enjin. There will be a Jenkins dev builds link though as soon as the first release is approved I will add the link.

Just subscribe to FileUpdates (Subscriptions tab above) and set it to real time updates by email and your be sent an email which you can click on to find the link. Sorry not emailing out the link as bukkit are very strict on this especially on the first release.

That's exactly what I am planning on doing but I'll give you am example of there is always a point you have to reach. Say I release this min, and you go to load the plugin and there is a bug in the setlobby command, which is the first thing you need to use, this could be a bug that renders the plugin dead until it's fixed. This would make the whole release pointless as you wouldn't be able to do anything else until fixed.
I am not trying to remove 100% of bugs as that's not possible until it is released and people find things which weren't obvious with initial testing.
I am not adding any more code/features unless it's 100% necessary to allow you to test out the full setup. This is actually for my benefit as I want this first release which is includes 80% of the setup to be fully testable and all bugs reported all in one go. This is not an easy plugin to setup due to it's complexity and trying to allow dedicated SSB servers as well as servers that run other plugins to operate all from the same plugin.
We are not talking days here, as soon as I am remotely satisfied I will submit a release. Currently I am having to re-write the createarena command once that is complete and a quick test it will be ready.
I hope ppl understand where I am coming from and my reason for certain things. But I have sleep about 4 hours a night for the last week and coding for the other 20 hours to get this released. This is an open source plugin so I will be releasing the GitHub repo once it's released so ppl who are interested can see the code.

I dont see how anything bad would come of releasing a pre-release of the plugin at the moment. Despite the bugs, we can still try out the plugin.
