I have a problem with the plugin. This was so even in older versions. At the entrance of new players on the server I get the error in the console. The player does not get the starter inventory. This happens only when in the saved kit player has an fited armor.
@robotnikthingy
This is because you have not created the directory in your bukkit.yml where you said you want to place updated plugins. Upgrade manually to the latest version here once is approved or simply make that folder.
@josip1
Yes I noticed that as well. They are not persisted correctly so we are waiting for Bukkit to implement them.
i get this error

Books don't work for me =/
They are just empty. Latest dev 1.3.1 They add the book and are written but they are empty :(
@grandwazir
Well my way of thinking would be there was a list of worlds you want starterkit for in the config, then the first time you entered any of those worlds (is there a method to check if someone has been in a world before?) the kit would be given.
@Valon750
Just tested is on the development version of bukkit. Works fine! Get writting those books :D
@darth2499

@AS1LV3RN1NJA
It would be possible but I would then have to keep track of all the players and the worlds to see if they have been there before. Also the current way it is setup is to clear and replace a player's inventory. Would you want that to happen if they moved to a new world as well?
@bombrown
Maybe, but I think it might get put into a different plugin. I'd like to keep this one just for StarterKits, there are loads of kit plugins about.

Keep getting this error
Would it be possible to change it so players are given this the first time they enter a world in the config, not the first time they join the server?
I've recently changed my server so new players start in a "Hub" world, I'd like them to recieve the starterkit the first time they enter the "Chaos" world.
Can you make more than 1 kit sort of like the Kit Plugin? I like how you save what is in you inventory and what armor you are wearing.
@Valon750
Should be possible without updating the plugin since it already supports damage values. As long as they are implemented correctly in Bukkit, the plugin will support it.
@TheMadMan697
This is because you have not created the update directory that you specified in bukkit.yml. I do not yet create this directory if it is missing, but will do so in the next feature update.
@grandwazir
1.2.2 is working fine. Great plugin :)
@allaryin
no i want it like this. Where it will put the armor on already instead of using essentials. Cause it doesnt do it. Is there another plugin that can do that?
@grandwazir
I am getting this error now :D
It is saving to the file though and I can still load it using /sk load.
@grandwazir
Woo, that worked. NB: Autoupdate fails if the tmpdir doesn't exist - creating it and bouncing the server twice fetched your patch successfully though :)
@allaryin
@TheMadMan697
Fixed in the latest version.
@TheMadMan697
Ah I bet I know what it is one second.
EDIT: Fixed in the latest release. If you have automatic updates enabled, it should update automatically next time you restart. Otherwise you can download the new version here.
Doesn't seem to give the starter kit for me. I put the items I wanted in my inventory and typed /sk save, stopped the server and deleted my inventory then started it again. I joined back on and I didn't get any kit. I even tried my alt account which had not been on the server before and it got nothing. The kit loads fine when I type /sk load. Any idea why it is not working for me?
craftbukkit: 1.2.5 R4, StarterKit: 1.2.1
@Justapieceofpie
There are several other plugins that do that sort of thing already - you probably have them installed even ;)
