What is SpawnerAdjuster? It allows Monster Spawners to be utilized in various fashions, but it has 3 primary functions.
# Allow what is spawned by the spawner to be changed by simply clicking on it. # Force the spawner to do its thing by feeding it a redstone signal # Allow a spawner to be moved by simple breaking it.
Why create a this mod? Surly one exists already!
Yes, indeed. I saw 2 actually. However they both lacked a chunk of things I wanted. 1 had permissions support but requires /commands to work with a spawner, and I believe a player should never have to resort to the / key. The other one, while allowing interaction with just clicking was not up to date with 1.8 and the author said "6 weeks" before he update it. No, no I'll write my own, thank you.

The config.yml can be found in your server's plugin folder, in the directory "SpanwerAdjuster'. An explanation of all the settings in it can be found at http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/spawneradjuster/pages/config/
I like to think the permissions are straight foward. Only SuperPermissions are supported. Permission nodes can be found at http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/spawneradjuster/pages/permission-nodes/

EDIT: Alpha 3 fixed the crashing.

SpawnerAdjuster 1.9.0 alpha 3 is uploaded. It should fix this redstone event error. Should, but I can not test it currently. Let me know if it works.

Hey, great plugin! One suggestion though, can you add it to possibly drop a spawner with descriptions like with MobCatcher if you catch a mob it tells you the health of the mob. And when spawned it is spawned with the shown health or is this different?

1. In theory, yes. It is very easy to attach extra data to a block these days. The problem is keeping the data on server restarts. I did start working on a way to save the data, but it is not done.
2. I don't 'officially' integrate with any economy plugins, but I don't think I'd need to. Just so long as the block is placed on the ground by a player.
3. This is a simple request, but again the multiplier would be lost on server restarts until I get a save-system of some sort working.
I've got a suggestion that I wonder if it would be possible to do, well.. three
First one:
Could it be possible to have a setting to deny both loot and XP from mobs spawned from placed spawners? Not natural or previously placed/worldedit. Possibly a file that save location of the spawners placed?
Why I wonder this is well...
Second one:
...So spawners could be sold mainly for the purpose of using them as technical blocks in for example various games without affecting the natural ones to lose their XP and loot drop abilites.
And third one:
If it could be possible to (thinking natural spawners now) be able to set a multiplier for even more xp or less, mainly thinking about less so grinding can be reduced but not totally removed, just so that they may go out and hunt mobs instead of stand infront of the grinder. Could this also possibly affect loot?

The current alpha should work with 1.4.5's bukkit. I've been sidetracked a little by the release of Halo 4, but I am watching to make sure no game-breaking bugs pop up with this. If you do run into a problem, feel free to post here, as I check every monday-friday and usually saturday and sunday too.

Knowing that sadmean is actively developing this. I would say yes. He has already patched it a few times so that it works with the current bukkit beta. If you read his posts below you will see he is working on a way to control exactly what it spawns. For example a charged creeper instead of a standard creeper.
Will this get updated to 1.4.5?

Go to the tickets page, and open a ticket.
Attach your SpawnerAdjuster config file and your permissions file. Also make sure you note what permissions plugin you use (if any).
If your permissions are stored in SQL, I believe there is a way to dump that to a text file.
