SparkTrail
An advanced and powerful particle trail plugin
Great for donation perks! Dazzle your friends with tons of unique particle effects!
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
The SparkTrail plugin aims to utilise the range of particle effects Craftbukkit has to offer. Fire, ender, smoke and even love hearts are only a small portion of the particle effects this plugin utilises. With over 20 unique effects, there's guaranteed to be one that 'tickles your fancy'!
The integration of Player, Location and Entity particle effects, along with a long list of Sound effects comes packaged inside the SparkTrail plugin. We also integrate the plugin's features with newer Minecraft additions, including complete Command Block support for modifying Trail effects.
SparkTrail comes with an auto-updater to save you, as a server owner, from continually checking this page for new files. It simply connects to dev.bukkit.org and compares the versions of available files. If you do not wish for SparkTrail to perform this check, navigate to the Configuration File (config.yml) in the SparkTrail directory of your plugins folder and change "checkForUpdates" and "autoUpdate" to "false". The first value disables the version comparison altogether and the second updates the plugin automatically if new files are detected.
Metrics is used to collect plugin statistics. Only data such as plugin version and players online is collected. If you do not wish for this data to be collected, disable it in the 'Plugin Metrics' folder of your 'plugins' directory.
This video applies to SparkTrail 2 ONLY!
SparkTrail is open source
Pull requests are welcome!
When are we getting the working 1.7 release? Would be really awesome!
Can you add a GUI?
STATUS UPDATE ;3
I'll be constructing the Wiki and uploading SparkTrail 3.0 over the coming days. I have decided that it is stable enough to release now.
@iSacha Look in the language.yml file.
@Eisenbahn /trail mob (then selecting an entity) will allow you to edit that particular entity's trail effects.
Are you able to make it like when i hit a cow (or any other entity) with a stick, that cow will have a certain kind of particle effect and it will keep its effect even the server restarts?
[]'s!

How?
Are you able to customize the blocks/items that are used in the "itemspray" effect?
Is it possible to custom the prefix?
What happened to ItemDrop? Was it removed in Sparktrail 3? or was it changed to ItemSpray.
If so, I can't get ItemSpray to work at all. I'm trying to get it to do diamonds, I was using /trail ItemSpray 264 and /trail ItemSpray Diamond, But I just get this
ST>> Error for input string: trail ItemSpray 264. Use /trail help for help.
HELP?!?!?
What are the different trails?
The permissions are a bit complicated, could you possibly add a sparktrail.player permissions which have all the normal spark activating/deactivating permissions?
The Dev link seems to be broken. Could you please post another one? EDIT: Seems to be working again, wonderful.
@DSH105
Yeah i noticed, sorry for not checking the plugin itself out and relie on a video. Another question is there an option to create your own gui like, you give a member 9 options, and then it will be like a hopper, and not like a chest. Is this possible? And are you guys going to implement this ?
EDIT : Can you guys put in that if someone is vanish, and or uses a potion of invicibility that the particles will stop? And, maybe you guys could add a redstone block in the GUI that will stop all the particles. (Just giving you guys some ideas, since its a really good plugin :D)
@Alaanaya That was the first feature that was added into SparkTrail 3 ;).
Are you guys ever going to make a GUI with this plugin? :)
@RetroVd3mx
/trail
Incorrect syntax, whenever I even use the help commands...no error logs. /spark /sparkmenu /sparkblock Nothing works (when looking at submenus)
