Skeleton Boss
This plugin creates the skeleton king, a skeleton that wears diamond armor, has a strength boost, and has double the ordinary health of a skeleton. Every night, there is a chance that it may spawn. The boss will choose a random player to go after and teleport to them. To let the player have a chance, both the boss and the player are invulnerable for 15 seconds to allow the player to get his sword, run away, etc.
This plugin was created as an easier boss than the Wither or Enderdragon so that players would be on the look out at all times. The boss can still kill players easily so watch out!
This plugin uses Java 7, ask if you need a Java 6 version

Commands:
- /spawnboss: spawns the skeleton king where the player is looking
- Player must be Opped or have skeletonboss.spawn
- Player must be Opped or have skeletonboss.spawn
- /spawnboss2 x y z world
- x, y, z must be numbers and world must be letters
- x, y, z must be numbers and world must be letters
- /killboss: kills boss
- Permission skeletonboss.kill
- Permission skeletonboss.kill
Config:
- Probability: Higher the number, lower the chance that the boss will spawn
- Health: Max health of the boss(A normal skeleton has 20 health)
- Lightning: Bow strikes lightning if boss is under half health
- Drop: can be any item that the boss will drop on death
- Mount: Mob for the boss to ride

PS it would be nice if he spawned on an undead horse. I tried horses but they throw him as they are not tamed.

Sure, I fixed the killboss bug in the latest jar. Ill also try to implement those features
I'd like to suggest some features, if I may.
1. Be able to customize the gear the skeleton boss is wearing, with enchantment options, and if they should drop upon the boss' death.
2. Option to add more item drops with enchants, such as enchanted swords and armor.
3. Option to create several kinds of skeleton bosses, by adding sections in the config where you could define each skeleton boss. Spawn them in-game with a defined title or name for each the bosses in the config.

and to kill them with a command like this
/killboss [radius]
/killboss 50
I'm also trying to do /killboss, but it's not working. Says there is no such command.

/spawn skeleton isnt the command, it is /spawnboss2. As for the /butcher, try using /killboss after. I checked the code and /killboss is a command, are you running the latest version?
most large servers will have /spawn - already used.
please change command or add extra like
/skellyboss spawn /skellyboss 60 60 60 /skellyboss reload

When using /butcher the boss is killed but when you try to use /spawnboss it says the boss is still alive and can't be spawned.
Can you please fix?
Interesting! Im really in for your new "exciting" plugin) Okay, will wait, but as for one boss, like i said, players can "catch" him & no loot/boss for other players :)

Well thought out idea! I appreciate your time for the feedback. I'll try as soon as I can to implement that as a configurable mode. It may take a while since I am focusing my efforts on a new and exciting plugin that is fairly large.
The one boss at a time isn't a bug though, if you were wondering.
Hello, for me it is more like a bug, but i want this to be as a feature :)
So, if the boss is spawned @ World, then it WONT spawn untill he is dead, so... Players can catch him, and just not killing him & other players wont get a taste of him, so my suggestion is to make a feature, that More than 1 skeleton king can spawn. So, for example, every 60 minutes skeleton king is spawned. If Skeleton King isnt dead in 60 minutes, the next one spawns & there are 2 Skeleton kings in the world, so there comes more configuration:
So... what do you think about this? :) Would it be made?

Are you planning other bosses ? Like Zombie Boss, Spider Boss, Skeleton boss, for example, Random chance of spawning Zombie/Chicken/Spider/Skeleton or other boss At night (probability stays) ?
Add skeleton horse!

Can you please make the config for XP Drop ? how much to drop exp... (For me excellent is 0 - non exp), but for others maybe more XP
can you add zombie to boss and this command kill boss so we can stop geting he alive thing cuz i cant summon it

Set the difficulty to peaceful and then reload the plugin. He shouldn't be alive then.
