Simple Player List
Main | Installation | Configuration
Description
Simple Player List is the successor to OnlinePlayers. It is a plugin which collects the currently active members on your server and sends the information to a webpage that can be viewed by the public.
It displays whether or not the server is online, the users who are currently online (if any) and the number of users online out of the total that can be online.
There are two configuration files. One for the Bukkit plugin, so that it can connect to the PHP script. The other is to configure the functionality of the actual list display.
Permissions support (which is entirely optional), to enable the creation of custom ranks. You can create as many ranks as you want, and call them whatever you like. The purpose is to add a little tag, or prefix before the user's name in the player list.
Features
- Automatically updating active player list, viewable as a webpage.
- Permissions support for custom ranks. (Optional)
- Easy to configure with simple and explained config files.
- Status of the server is displayed as offline or online.
- Run on ANY Server. The server can send the list to any website or computer that has the correct php files. This means if the physical Minecraft server is off, the scripts can still run and display that the server is offline.
- Compact display. No confusing extra crap around the page to distract from the real purpose of the list.
- The ability to display a users skin face next to their name.
- The format of the list can be altered and parts removed to get exactly what you want.
- Give your users ranks with the config.yml file and simple permission nodes.
- Simple Prefix (link) integration. If you are running Simple Prefix, users prefixes will be used as ranks.

To Do's

is it possible to import this in wordpress?
Hi, I tried installing it and the only thing I get is a blank page www.tehgamingcrew.com/playerlist/ I heard something about tcp 10 but I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it.
How can I fix the black page?
Hello there, I got a problem display some names. Here are 2 screenshot.
What could be the problem? The left face is function, the right one not. The right one is in the permission file and it gets printed out in the data.txt.
Greetings, FireballCH

@Willbbz
In the data.txt file on your web server, delete one of the lines of text.
@Willbbz: Go to your data.txt file and delete only one of the entries.

Having a problem with the list printing twice to the webpage. Any suggestions?
@Flabaliki: This plugin works fine but on Internet Explorer it doesnt refresh the tempfiles and only updates when clearing your browser history, any ideas on how to fix this?
I feel like such a noob that I can't get this to work. Error is that it can't connect to receiver.php.
Is port 10 specific to only your server or should we put it in our configs?
What is printed to the console is Simple Server cannot connect to:
Nothing followed after that
EDIT: Fixed
@ignasiux
There is no support for names in columns... I don't know why I never thought of that :S, cheers for the idea.
If you want to put it in another page just use an iFrame:
@Flabaliki
When I replace config.php with new one my old configs is there. :| EDIT: Fixed. All working good.
Another question, how to put this in my webpage? Like panel
And I want to make names in 2-3 columns, not 1 :|
@Warryur Data.txt just needs a single space in it.
@ignasiux You can ONLY have A-Za-z and spaces in server names, anything other than that (right now) will cause that error. Change the name of the server and replace config.php with a new one.
@runelynx It's just doing a POST as PHP would.
@Textra1 Maybe in the future, I'm really busy right now, as may be evident in the lack of updates / support.
@pipeman Same as above ^^

Help please?
Is there anyway you could have this also list the minecraft world time?
Hello, This sounds to be a great plugin but it doesn't work for me : I get a lot of PHP ERRORS such as :
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP-5.3.9\www\playerlist\receiver.php on line 162
Can somebody help me? Thanks!
This feature may have been asked for before but I'm not trawling through 203 posts to verify that. Is there a change of having this plugin work with VanishNoPacket so that vanished players don't appear on the player list?
Any time on when reloading is fixed? Right now reloading just shows the server as off, but with people on it (The people who were on when it reloaded)
