ShiftMode
This allows you to switch between game modes with a simple command which is /shift. This command changes to the opposite game mode of the one your currently on. This plugin also uses PermissionsEx and the node is shiftmode.shift
*Default to Op if there are no permissions!*
Features
Commands: /shift or /sm
- simple commands
- supports superperms
Permission node
- shiftmode.shift
Configuration file
- edit messages given to players
Todo
- change others game mode
Can you please make it so that if a world's default gamemode is adventure and a player does /sm it switches from adventure to creative and back? I want certain players to be able to use creative mode in an adventure world without giving them the power to change other players' game modes.
Can you integrate now the feature changing others game mode? Thank you. :)
And maybe update it to 1.3.2... It works but maybe there are some bugs.
Any suggestions for new ideas?
@EndCraftMC
No because my plugin doesn't allow people to change others game mode yet. When i add the feature don't give player b the permission to change others. Give player b the permission to change only themselves
Question, If i give the permission to lets say, Player B that's in RANK B.. Would that let Player B put someone else in creative with a command such as /shift PlayerA
I'm hoping not.
Testing this out on a temp server hopefully some plugins work with 1.2 :S
@imilkywayz
Added a configuration file :)
Excellent plugin, and I have a feature request. I would like to optionally be able to /shift and have it store my inventory so I can admin in creative.. disabling the ability to drop/pickup items would be nice too so I can do it without having to rely on another plugin.. I'd only make this action perform if storeinv: true and blockpickup: true and blockdrop: true in the config.yml though. I could just /shift and have my logblock (or whatever) tools on-hand and whatever else I needed for admin-y stuff, shift back and resume playing without having to box my stuff or worry about another plugin to do that :D
Blocking the item dropping/pickup optionally would help make this a standard mod procedure and one-command easy. I know people love this plugin for it's simplicity and elegant behavior, so this should probably be off by default..
@DT_Rush
I love this plugin its the best switcher. But I would love Permissions 3 support
I would really love to use this on my server however i cannot because no P3 support.
There are many people that still use P3 please please please add support :D
@ronyzzn
Added :)
@DT_Rush
Ah okay. Thanks for keeping up with it; this is one of the most-liked plugins from my server of about 20 people.
New update R3, please !
But testing now .... I requst if it don't work.
@thefowles1
Nothing really haha, I haven't been working on it lately so i just wanted to update it to 1.1 so this plugin wont become inactive
@DT_Rush
Sweet! Also, what changed with the latest version? The 1.0 release worked just fine on a 1.1 server.
If you don't want to add a config, at least put the source on github so we can change the default messages, and also i want to see if i can add this into a plugin i have thats only for my server so its not like I'm distributing it. let me know what you think author.
Nice Plugin! Can you maybe add a alias for /shift ? (e.g. /sm for shiftmode)
LG Rony
@thefowles1
I'll see what I can do :)
You know what would make this plugin 100% perfect? A config file allowing us to change/add/remove the messages. :)
@CrashNT
lol thanks and glad you like my plugin :)
@DT_Rush
sorry had to reply to you. Love the avatar pic and the name! Makes me want to switch my name to "Thor_Drop" LOL
