Looks like this is dead... If I was any better at java I'd take it over myself. It looks like a brilliant plugin.
If anybody knows which bits of the API this has been broken by, I can have a go at making a temp fix, but no promises...
I can't get this to work with cb 1.2.4 or 1.2.5 still
What are you guys using instead of this plugin? (I have switched to MasterPromote)
@Totenfluch BUMP... please update. OR someone take it over.
Please update this Plugin =( and fix the issue with the broken nesting
@DominicDeckys
Same issue
@Totenfluch
I'm getting the same thing, can this please be fixed.
-> /promo pricelist -> nothing
-> /promo price <any rank> -> That rank doen't have a price
->/promo buy <rank> -> with op Syntax error without "No Permissions"
->/promo whatami -> works!
@wesley4220336
same Problem for me
Bump!
Could you also add the ability to add/remove a rank (group) from a user? Because this plugin only sets the group (removing other groups associated with player) I cannot use it the way I would like to. On my server I have various groups which users can join (builders/soldier/etc) as well as donor ranks. So, a player could be a donor and a soldier... which means they have two different groups associated with their account. Could you add functionality that would allow for this type of situation? Such as adding addrank/delrank commands with additional permission nodes to control who can add/remove ranks as well?
Is it possible to stop the plugin for checking for iConomy? Cause when I use IC5, Setrank will not work, even when I set Economy to false in the config.
@Baummann1703
sorry for being late. I have that on res2. each rank has its own Permissions group.
Everything was working before the upgrade.
@wesley4220336
same Problem for me.. looks like all the ranks are not loading...
-> /promo pricelist
-> nothing
-> /promo price <any rank>
-> That rank doen't have a price
->/promo buy <rank>
-> with op Syntax error without "No Permissions"
->/promo whatami
-> works!
@wesley4220336
Strange... try to set setrankpb.iconomy.buy.res2 to true.
Hey.. I love this plugin, but i am having trouble with people ranking them self up.
here is part of my permissionbukkit config.
For the Above. Player is res2, they type in /promo buy res3 they keep getting " no permissions"
and for /promo price res2 Message is "the rank does not have a price or does not exist.
what am i doing wrong. All thise used to work before 1.2
Thanks.
@koopatroopa544
Permissions 3.x uses multiple worlds for its configs. PermissionsBukkit uses one config for all worlds.
Ok, so you said that this plugin doesnt have multiworld support, but when i used setrank for permissions 3.1.6, it did what i need. basically what setrank for 3.1.6 did was to have the ranks change automatically when i teleported to another world. sorry for asking again, but i wasnt quite sure if you understood me before. is this actually possible? if it worked with setrank for 3.1.6 i thought it would work for permissionsbukkit. maybe there is much difference between the two?

OH lol sorry the last time i looked (before you updated this plugin to 1.1-R6) it said you must have permissionsbukkit and superpermsbridge for this to work :P sorry.
@koopatroopa544
Yes. I'm the author of both.
@koopatroopa544
It works fine without SuperPermsBridge.
Hey, i just saw that permissionsbukkit has updated and now they dont use superpermsbridge... are you gonna update for 1.2.3 and so that you dont need superpermsbridge? well, i dont know if thats possible, i dont have a clue what you go through to make this plugin :P
But On SetRank for Permissions 3x it did exactly that... and aren't these two plugins the same except one works for permissions 3x and the other works for PermissionsBukkit?
Thanks for updating :)
