SafeEdit
SafeEdit - WorldEdit 10+ million blocks with NO lag!
Tired of your server crashing with large world edits? Is your server being bogged down by lag when making large cuts or pastes? Well worry no more! SafeEdit is a WorldEdit mod that allows you to set the speed in which your builds are WorldEdited.
Description
SafeEdit works by taking WorldEdit commands and executing them a certain number of blocks per tick. The speed in which blocks are WorldEdited can be set by either typing a number after the command, (ex: paste 1000) or by setting the number in the config and using WorldEdit as you normally would. If you don't type a number after your command, SafeEdit will default to the number set in the config.
Now supports all region types!

Please keep in mind this is a very powerful plugin. Just like with WorldEdit, a miss-click or typo can ruin your project. We urge you to please be careful when working with this plugin! We are not responsible for any lost/damaged builds, or any unforeseen bugs the plugin may have.
This plugin has been tested thoroughly and we think that you will enjoy the benefits of SafeEdit on your server as much as we do :)
can you update it please ?
Help me with this bug!! its to big thats why i had to pastbin it!!! theres lots of more where this came from!! http://pastebin.com/1q7tRPX6
This is a very half assed plugin. Don't use it. You will regret it.
Tried to gmask, this plugin dont see gmask. sstopped it, I get a prompt that says "stoped."
That should have been my clue right there that it was all going to fall to shit.
Did sundo and it only brought back half of my crap that was destroyed.
Gud job, dev.
After doing a worldedit with SafeEdit, the selection is indestructable where no one can edit blocks in the area after the worldedit or after a /sstop. We had to remove the plugin to fix this.
Could you please add like an sredo command cause i can't redo the stuff i did thanks!
How well does this handle attached items, like torches and such?
I really like gardening. I enjoy taking care of flowers. Kittens.
Hey you guys should look into undo even if i paste a schematic or edit anything when i try to undo it it just says [nothing to undo] thank you other then that great plugin
@act1vexx
lol. Please fix that soon. I have a server with tons of users on it who are allowed to use worldedit. A permission node would be quite good in this situation.
It looks sexy when you do like 10 blocks/tick :D
only ops can use it, sad.
Any chance to make this run with version 1.4.7 ... ?
Key Feature:
This plugin definitely shouldnt remove any worldedit functionality, or at least there should be a way to configure it such that it doesnt remove any worldedit functionality. Here is my suggestion.
The plugin should have the command "/se" for safe edit. These commands function just like the current system. So you could type "/se set stone 20" or "/se undo". Some users may not like this because then they have to type something extra, thats why you have a configurable option to override worldedit commands (heck even set it to default true). When this option is set to true, the plugin behaves just like it does now, but when it is set to false, players can use worldedit as it should work with undo, redo, ect.
I want this feature because personally I will only be using this plugin for a select few cases in which I have to do huge edits. Its not worth it to me to install it for those few cases if I have to lose functionality in my normal day to day edits (losing redo and undo).
So this addition does not remove any functionality from this plugin, but rather allows users to keep worldedit functionality while using this plugin as well.
Side Note: the /sundo command does not work because it is not registered in your plugin.yml
While doing large worldedits with safeedit the blocks just never show up -_-
undo not work. Use sundo
I am experiencing two problems. World edit seems to not record my edits so I can't undo anything and any selection currently in the process of editing after I enter the command sstop becomes an area ware I am unable to place or break blocks.
Wooow! Amazing plugin thx so much for this!!! love it!!!
Thanks for this amazing plugin. No more server crashes when making big changes! Yay!
Note: The sundo doesn't work quite right when undoing a faces command.
Does this support the logBlock WorldEdit logging?
Add command for toggling normal and safe mode
