TimerSigns
Sign Timer ==
Easily create timers with signs.
If you ever wanted to have a timer for a specific small thing, you are at the right place.
With this plugin you can create them.
Requires Vault
How to make a timer:
Step 1:
Place a block.
Step 2:
Attach a sign with on the first line: [Clock]
And on the second line the minutes.
[Clock]
time
Step 3:
Place a lever on the other side of that block.
Step 4:
Right click it, or power it with redstone!
New time format
[#]ms (milliseconds)
[#]s (seconds)
[#]m (minutes)
[#]h (hours)
writing: "1h 2m 3s 4ms" would be equivalent to 1 hour, 2 minutes, 3 seconds and 4 millliseconds.
Permissions:
- SignTimer.create : Allows you to create a TimerSign.
- SignTimer.destroy : Allows you to destroy a TimerSign.
- SignTimer.use : Allows you to use a TimerSign.
Can you fix this plugin for 1.8?
I need this concept on my server but no other plugin have this.
does not work right in 1.7.9 doesnt run clock for any specified time only will run for 1ms
Could you give me a exemple of what I have to write on my sign for 30 sec? not sure if this is not working for me of I just write it wrong. I have the latest version 1.2 For 1 min, I wrote: 1st [clock] 2nd 1 and it works, but 1st [clock 2nd 0.5 doesn't and I don't figure out the new time format...
Could you possibly make it use seconds instead of minutes?
@mclightcraftproduction
How about a line that runs back to the sign with a redstone torch in between, it will start the clock again when it stops running
impresionant!!!!!!!
@BlockCat
I wanted this plugin to activate a command block every 30 minutes
@DreamCastNetwork
excuse me? where do you have the plugin for?
@BlockCat
Well that is going to be hard, I suck at redstone :p And the redstone thingy will be really Long if you want to activate it every 30 minutes
@mclightcraftproduction
You can make a loop with timers and redstone, experiment with the timers and redstone for a bit. And I'm sure you can pull this off.
Is it possible to add a feature that you can set a time for when it runs again? example: I want my server to be saved every 30 minutes, and I am using a command block and I connect the lever with the redstone to the commandblock. So when It runned the time for the "run again wil be activated" so when I set the clock to 10 seconds, it saves after 10 seconds, and repeats after 10 seconds again.
This is just an idea.
@Spacie06
Yes thats possible. You can also activate it with redstone!
Sorry it's me again..
Would it be possible to make it so when a button is pressed it will activate it.
So that the player don't see the sign.
I mean like if a player press the button, doors will be open for like 20 sec. And maybe even set a Price for pressing the button. Say i push the button doors open and i pay 100 for it?
Thanks to BlockCat.
I had the problem (see below) And he fixed it right away.
Thumbs up for BlockCat.
Thank you so very much.
@BlockCat
Sure.. what do you want to see?
The server is: Juncker.dyndns.org
@Spacie06
yes, strange indeed, can I take a look on the server?
@Spacie06
I just installed vault but it still says: You are not allowed to place [Clock] signs.
This is so strange.
Is Sign Timer supposed to make a folder like most plugins? It does not.
@Spacie06
Nope, Vault is a permissions/economy bridge, which most plugins use. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/vault/
@BlockCat
Im not sure. I have BOSEconomy. Is that it or is there a plugin called vault?
@Spacie06
I forgot to mention that it requires vault.
Do you have Vault?
