Runecraft
Runecraft is a gameplay modification for SMP, that adds magic to the game without any commands. Runecraft is the longest running Minecraft mod, dating back to the Alpha days. Runecraft boasts over 120 runes and is still under active development. Everything you need in one, immersive, magic plugin.
Magic is done through the form of "runes", significant shapes of materials laid out in the actual game world. These runes can create unique short-term tool enchants, teleporters, hidden walls/passageways, and even the ability to create mobile teleporting bases.
- Player built simple Teleporters that use unique combinations of blocks to identify destinations
- Specific enchantments for dealing with natural hazards (lava, floods, falling gravel)
- Magic blocks that flip between two blocks when you activate them, or reveal secret passages
- Redstone compatibility: allowing runes to be activated by redstone signals
- Multi-world support: all features are completely compatible with multiple-world servers
- Commandless setup: Runecraft is designed for minimum hassle in configuring it. plugin and go!
- Easy configuration: it's simple to disable a rune entirely, or a rune per person.
- Optional permissions compatibility
- Requires no client modification
Runecraft prides itself on its immersive nature, with no need for any slash commands. Everything can be done in-game by players, constructing the runes to create the effects they're looking for. Runecraft is an extremely popular addon for roleplay, PVP, and small servers because of it's out of the box ability to just be installed and start running, and covering a variety of pseudo-administrative and gameplay mechanics from an entirely in game point of view.

So this is probably just a me not being very smart kind of problem, But I'm trying to get the Altar of judgement to work so I can disable runes on my server and I've tried a few different things but whenever I try to use it, it doesn't work, No message shows up or anything so I assume I'm not doing something right in the disabled-runes.txt but I can't figure out what the problem is, I'm sure it is something really easy to fix, I'm just having some trouble figuring it out
@Rivkiin
TY Riv I shall remember that if i run into it again which im sure i will till next patch but for now i've fixed it by deleting everything after a unanimous decision by my staff.
@aceliip
There is a current bug in Runecraft 3 that Faith Islands randomly remove themselves. We know of the issue and I believe Amuxix has/almost has an answer to the issue.
Edit: You will need to re-faith them to bring them back.
So ive run into a snag and I can't figure out how to fix it. Recently all my faith islands were working fine but now no matter what faith island im on it says the area around me isnt stable enough to travel so now all my faith islands are locked and they are the major part of my server please help as all my players are now upset that they cant pegasus or use Faith Portals.

disabled-runes file parsing needs a overhawl, but so many things need fixing, and honestly right now I'm the only coder doing anything for runecraft and I have not had much time, so the problems with disabled runes might take a bit to get sorted out.
A few issues I've noticed with the default disabled-runes.txt. When it first generates, any runes with spaces in their names have no spaces, and the spaces need to be added manually to actually disabled those runes. The word "Enable" needs to be manually added to before "World Groups" in addition to un-commenting that line to actually enable that feature. It instructs users to use the world folder names, not the world ids (or where to find them), to create world groups, and gives false examples. Also, the three runes disabled by default (magma gel, salvation, redemption) don't really need to appear in the rune list if they are listed at the top, as well. Not really major, but having the .txt be fully properly formatted with correct instructions and no redundancy when it is first generated would be good for those less experienced with such configuration.
@0phoff
Replied to you on the forums! :D
Hey, First of all thank you for all the work you guys have been putting into this mod! It is still one of my favourite minecrat mods out there!
I have some troubles getting runecraft automation to work.. Posted a thread on the forums , but I thought I'd ask here as well! :) link to forum thread: https://officialrunecraft.net/threads/runecraft-3-automation.383/
@Mouse1703
We were working on a refactor of Toggle Blocks, yes it is intentional although it will do the same purpose as Toggle Blocks we will be renaming it Phase Blocks as Phase sounds more mystical than Toggle.
Getting the following error when trying to create toggle blocks. http://pastebin.com/Ry3nrvht Of note is that the lore on the tool displays "Phase Block" rather than "Toggle Block". Idk if this is intentional, since the latter rune replaces the former.
Thanks! It's working perfectly now.
@Mouse1703
You need to do the world ID, meaning the ID that shows up when you start or and the world.id in the folder. Either one will work. Thus you get WorldGroups 1, 2, 3
As well as that you need to do enable world groups on a seperate line.
Having a problem with worldgroups; they seem to not be having any effect. Teleporters are still freely able to access waypoints in any world. This is our disabled-runes.txt: http://pastebin.com/9GJ3TjMw
@Rivkiin
to enable teleportation across worlds, does the text need to start at the file beggining or do i leave 1 space?
@Rivkiin
Found it thanks!
@Charley_temp
What do you mean exactly? If you are in your plugins/runecraft folder, then leave that. Go back to where all your plugins are then go 1 more back to where your world folders are. Refresh that folder. You should see a disabled-runes.txt there. If you go into your overworld folder (many just call it world) you will see the magic.dat, magic_waypoints.dat, and energy.dat.

@Rivkiin
I cannot see any of the folders. only file i have is the config file.
@Charley_temp
It should be in your main world folder. Would you mind sending a pastebin of your logs?
Edit: The disabled-runes.txt will be in your main folder while the energy.txt will be in your main world folder.
Hey! The disabled-runes.txt and energy.(whatever) is not showing up. Some one help me? @Ctri @Amuxix @Der_Niabis @josiah42 @lvletei @Rivkiin Thank you!
