RollerCoaster Manager
RCM
What is and does it?
Rcm is a plugin that allows you to make a professional roller-coasters. On command it spawns or despawns minecarts at places you define.
Commands
This explains it all:
and now in text:
- /rcm help ; This command shows all the available commands
- /rcm add [name] [start or end] ; This command makes a new roller-coaster point at the place where you look. [name] is the name of the new roller-coaster point. [start or end] here you can define if the point is a start point or an end point.
- /rcm remove [name] ; This command removes a roller-coaster point.
- /rcm start [name] ; This command executes a roller-coaster point. If it is a start point, it spawns a minecart at the location where you looked when you added the point. If it is a end point, it deletes all the minecarts in a 4 block radius.
- /rcm list ; This command shows all the start and end points on the server.
- /rcm setType [name] [start or end]; this command sets if the points is a start or end point.
- /rcm setCart [name] [minecart/ chestCart/ furnaceCart/ tntCart/ hopperCart]; this command sets what cart the point spawns. Warning: tntCarts explode with a redstone signal!
- /rcm teleport[name] [player] ; this command teleports a player to one of the points. [name] is the name of the point.
Permissions
- rcm.*
- rcm.add
- rcm.remove
- rcm.start
- rcm.list
- rcm.setCart
- rcm.setType
- rcm.teleport
well, the names can tell you what they do!
Installation
Just download and put the file in the plugins folder. RCM makes automatically a folder and a data file(data.yml) . In that file are all the rollercoaster points stored.
Bugs or Problems
Please send me a message with the problem, so i can try to fix it.
Code
The code is hosted at github. click here to go there.
if i make an end point for my rollercoaster and do the command /rcm start endpoint it spawns a minecart instead of remove the cart. Do you know how to fix that?
Hey @rickeerd120 @DutchProKing @StoneCraftCZ @FantasyCraftThemeParkServer! I finally had some time to update the plugin to 1.7.9. Have fun playing!
@DutchProKing
je kan de plugin verwijderen want dat betekent dat je plugin out of date is dus niet meer werkt
Hello,
i Got one problem. When i start the server he say.
24.05 11:10:43 [Server] ERROR Could not load 'plugins/RollerCoasterManager(1).jar' in folder 'plugins'
what can i do?
Looks nice but sad the plugin "Train Carts" is not up to date...
please 1.7.2 ro-3
please update! thanks!
Hi, this plugin will not install, any ideas?
thanks
@GumbyDammit
I already fixed the problem, but thanks anyway :)
@Sinius15
Sorry, I thought I had some code lying around form a plugin I started but didn't finish, but I deleted it. Get a copy of Java Decompiler and then open up some other JAR files and check out the config class that most of them have.
You should add a command for showing a start/end point or teleporting to it.
@GumbyDammit
It looks indeed like the plugin can't create the RCM folder and the data.txt file. it is weird because in my server i don't have this problem. If you could send me the code, that would be awesome! And thanks for noticing the server is telling RCM 1.1. I really should remember to update that version number :/
EDIT: The problem should be fixed in version 1.30. But please tell me if the problem keeps occurring.
It looks like it's having a problem creating your .txt file in the plugins folder. Creating a folder and config.yml isn't hard. I can send you the code if required, or just open up anyone else's plugin and pinch the config code.
It exploded on me on startup. See below. Also, the server messages still refer to RCM 1.1.
@GumbyDammit
I am now working on changing the commands to better and understanding one's. When that update is ready, i will make a tutorial video. Thanks for trying out anyway.
I couldn't get anything to happen. I tried /rcmAdd coast1 start and moved 30 blocks away and did /rcmAdd coast1 end followed by /rcmDo coast1. Nothing. Then I removed all nodes and did /rcmAdd coast1 start, move away, /rcmAdd coast2 end then /rcmDo coast1. Nothing. Can you type a quick list of steps to make it work on a basic level?
This has the potential to be amazing.
