Regios
Current stable version: v5.9.9 for CB 1.6.2-R0.1
Regios, a fully fledged, extensive and extendible Region mod. Regios allows you to easily create regions with a vast amount of properties such as protection, entry & exit control, password protection, speed and health modifiers and much more! Regios is multi-world compatible and lightweight. More so Regios is open source and has a well documented API which will allow other developers to make add-ons to make Regios even better!
NOTE: Regios v5.0.3 and later now REQUIRES Vault for Economy and/or Permissions support. You can still use Regios without Vault but it will be Op or basic superperms only and without economy support.
Do you use Dynmap? Ever wanted to see your Regios regions on Dynmap? Well now you can! Try the new Dynmap-Regios!
Some of the main features of Regios are:
- Complete Region protection.
- Spout GUI editor!
- Permissions and group modification in real-time, force commands and inventory options.
- Prevent exit or entry with password authentication.
- Transfer structures/regions from server to server with new Blueprint (*.blp) files!
- Backup your Regions and restore them to their former states. (Now includes container contents and sign text!)
- API access.
- Fun features such as health control, pvp settings and speed modifiers.
- Per world configurations.
- Default Region settings.
- Simple flat file storage allows for manual editing if needed.
- Universal Economy/Permission support through Vault
- WorldEdit Support
Current To-Do list (in no particular order or priority):
- Fix Spout GUI
Add non-cuboid regionsCompleted in 5.9.0!- Add self-contained permission system
- Add player variables to commands
Expand Regios APICompleted in 5.9.0!- Better multi-world support
- Add renting
- Add fall damage prevention
- Fix water and lava placement issue when regions are close to each other
- Add more effects for "fun" commands (prevent hunger, regen hunger, cause potion effects, etc.)
- Add some way of visualizing regions in-game.
- Add some form of child regions (mainly to prevent players from creating regions inside of other players regions)
- Add some form of priority system for regions (for when regions overlap)
- Add music looping
- Make tutorial videos!
- Make the commands more flexible (and helpful)
- Add more command aliases (for some of the stranger commands, such as set-creature-spawns)

- Add world commands
- Add a scheduler for backups

I have a problem, restrictions doesn´t work correctly. Allowed size of region isn´t taken from regios.restrictions.size20, but plugin takes it from regios.restrictions.2, so there is a message for non Op's, that they "can´t create region of this width. Max.width:2". And they can create more then 2 regions. I use this permissions: - regios.data.delete - regios.data.create - regios.restrictions.2 - regios.restrictions.size20
@Shalinee
Yes But iConomy 6 works with Build 1.0.0-R1 and it's unlikely there will be any new API breakages.
But iConomy6 is outdated .... And the Plugin-Developer hasn't been here since Sept 30.
That's waht i mean, in relation of "no support for iConomy anymore"
So we have to switch to a different Eco plugin...
@Shalinee
There is, the support is for iConomy6.
@Anonymous777
Sorry I forgot to remove that debug message, redownload and it is gone.
@DrBreadgun
See above ;)
Hey!
Why is there no Support for Essentials... iConomy and BOSEconomy are outdated. And there is no support for iConomy anymore...
@Adam: oh lol thanks :D
but i hava a question again, can you tell me how i can deactivate the "Building in region: <region>"-message?
Hello everybody! I wanted to know how to get rid of this message:
---------------------------Now building in <region>
Version 5.0.01 : Fixed NPE's regarding ChunkGrids & Regions
@Silverbanana
I am planning on adding command blocking soon :)
I also need to re-write the database to make it more compact.
@Anonymous777
You must use the command /regios set to begin setting points.
@Anonymous777
did you get worldedit?
hey, thanks for updating to 1.0.0 but i have a little problem with this; the selection tool dont work o.O i have test it with the woodenaxe, it dont work, then i have change the tool id to 286 and have test it with golden axe, but this dont work too... can you help me?
YAY its updated, ty adam =)
Hey Adamki11s, I really like your mods and mostly this mod, I was wondering if you could make it so certain users (not opped/doesn't have permission) can't do selected commands in a certain region. This would make my day, best of luck!
@All Updated for 1.0.0 All of these protection issues should hopefully be fixed, sorry for the wait!
PLEASE UPDATE!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Ii works but there are minor bugs and it spams my chat with error reports
UPDATE THIS!!!
Im having a problem with this plugin.
none of the commands to protect a region, prevent entry, lock doors, lock chest, ect.. ect.. I even had a friend to test with and the protection and everything else did not work at all :( When i put the commands in it did say they got activated but they still didnt work.
The same is happening to me. Whenever i try to buy a region with a sign i get:
12:06:38 [SEVERE] Could not pass event PLAYER_INTERACT to Regios java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/iConomy/iConomy at couk.Adamki11s.Regios.Economy.iConomyManager.getBalance(iConomyManage r.java:11) at couk.Adamki11s.Regios.Economy.iConomyManager.canAffordRegion(iConomyM anager.java:15) at couk.Adamki11s.Regios.Listeners.RegiosPlayerListener.onPlayerInteract (RegiosPlayerListener.java:216) at org.bukkit.plugin.java.JavaPluginLoader$11.execute(JavaPluginLoader.j ava:330) at org.bukkit.plugin.RegisteredListener.callEvent(RegisteredListener.jav a:58) at org.bukkit.plugin.SimplePluginManager.callEvent(SimplePluginManager.j ava:339) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.event.CraftEventFactory.callPlayerInteractEven t(CraftEventFactory.java:171) at net.minecraft.server.ItemInWorldManager.interact(ItemInWorldManager.j ava:265) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.a(NetServerHandler.java:592) at net.minecraft.server.Packet15Place.a(SourceFile:57) at net.minecraft.server.NetworkManager.b(NetworkManager.java:226) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.a(NetServerHandler.java:92) at net.minecraft.server.NetworkListenThread.a(SourceFile:108) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.h(MinecraftServer.java:471) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:374) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:417)
You should update to 1.0.1 and maybe add the ability for users to create their own protections, maybe with fences, or marking 4 corners with glowstone and using a command or a sign to verify the protection.
