RealChop
Add a gravity to trees!
When you chop down a tree, it will fall to the side. Leaves will fall on top of it.
Since you hold your axe in your right hand, you are cutting the tree on the right, so it falls to it's right. If any parts of the tree are attached to another block (including diagonally), they will not fall.

Actually, writing plugins is pretty easy ;) The only problem is managing time when you have a lot to do. I have a week free, so I'll probably do at least a day on this, my plan was to get several feature additions done for 0.9 release, but I can add another build in the 0.8.x series with the bugfix if you need. Of course, nothing stops you from building from source yourself at any time, simply clone the git repository from github and use maven to compile it.
I know, code plugin is'nt easy :/
But the next build come soon ?
My beta-testers waiting for new version :)
@Frankyi9
Yup, it's planned - check https://github.com/Vovics/RealChop/issues/3
Could you implement the possibility to disable the plugin for certain worlds? :)
@Layania Yea, that is a bug. That only happened with new type of LOG blocks. Made commit with a bugfix already.
Wait a new build from Lucariatias, please.
That not working like that :/
example :
and i cut only one block in wall and all the wall fall...
i have lost many log and my wall is destroy :/
@Layania
You do not understand the concept. This tree is floating in the air? Just need to place ANY solid block near or inside your 'Tree'. For example, glass/furnace/door/stone/dirt/grass. After that, plugin will not touch your "Tree".
Plugin is awesome; this is a great idea
But don't make any difference between tree and player's contruction..
One of my player have make a giant tree, and when he wants cut a space to make
a window, LOL, the tree down.
With this problem, plugin is unusable.
The logs work, but the leaves vanish.
@Lucariatias
Thanks, how to get the saplings and apples to drop more? what config I need to change to keep the leave part?
@madtomic
0.8.2 should support 1.7.2-R0.3 fine, if you need protection plugin stuff backported, just clone the git repository, change the Bukkit version in pom.xml and run a clean install with maven, there's nothing that should break. There's also a possibility that 0.8.3 will also run on 1.7.2-R0.3, but no promises.

You guys do know technically Sethbling took the idea from here right? Sethbling's plugin is 3 months old. this plugin is almost 2 YEARS old. If you look on the side of the screen it says this. Just because a youtuber did something does not mean he did it first. The information for checking this literally took me 3 seconds to check the side of the screen and 10 seconds to check the posting date of the video you linked metarmask. Please check sources before posting Plagiarism. Thanks.
Sethbling already did this, Its called BlingTrees
Can you please update it for cb1.7.2-r0.3?
Sethbling did this too...
omfgomfgomfg
i love you for updating this guys
Thank you for updating! This is one of my favorite plugins.
If u build a tower or anything from wood it will fall if u hit bottom block.
loving the idea of this plugin, however I came across 2 bugs straight away
When your break logs that are currently on the floor, all logs change the way they are facing, making them face right of your location each time your break a new log.
When breaking a log from a tree, the logs fall the ground, however all of the leaves instantly vanish.
the leaves arent falling, just the logs. the leaves dissapear!
im using 1.7.10
