RankManager

What is RankManager?

RankManager is a plugin that allows server owners to rank the players on their servers on a scale of 0-9, with the console occupying level 10. This ranking system can then be used by other plugins, such as WeedKiller, to create more customizable solutions for your server hierarchy.

How do I use it?

To get started with RankManager, just download the latest build and place it in your server's 'plugins' folder. When you next start your server up, RankManager will be running and will begin to rank players for you.

When a player logs in for the first time, their default rank is 0 - the Standard user rank. You can allocate ranks to players as you wish, but I highly recommend that you make your most senior players level 9, so you can't accidentally promote someone to a higher level than you.

Other plugins that require RankManager will automatically hook into it on server startup, and their commands will be coded to suit the RankManager ranking system.

Commands and Permissions

Currently, RankManager only has one command and permission:

/setrank <player> <rank>
rankmanager.setrank
Sets the rank of a player. <player> must be a valid, online player and <rank> must be a number between 0 and 9

Upcoming Features

RankManager is a very young plugin and there are still quite a few features I would like to add to it, including:

  1. /getrank command
  2. /setrank and /getrank support for offline players
  3. Custom naming of rank levels
  4. Permission support for group levels (eg. rankmanager.rank.1 to make a player Rank level 1)
  5. Rank permissions support ( e.g. rankmanager.rank.0)
