QuickID
QuickID
This is my first Bukkit plugin, QuickID.
It will allow users to find IDs of blocks or items in the simplest possible way!
You will never ever need to go to a search engine to find a Minecraft ID again!
Download
If you update to 0.9.2, you do NOT need to delete your configuration. The plugin will attempt to migrate it!
- Latest stable release: QuickID 0.9.4
- Latest development build: None
- Previous release: QuickID 0.9.2
Features
- Easy to use
- Very customizable
- Supports Essentials item names!
- Find IDs of items in your inventory
- Easy command access! No need to carry your tool everywhere if you don't want to.
- Very lightweight!
Planned features
- Mob and entity ID support?
- Update checker
- Multilanguage support
- Nothing more, really. Any suggestions?
No hard configuration
This plugin is super simple to configure. The default configuration should be good for just about any server!
However, you can at any time change the configuration to fit your needs!
Go to Configuration for more information.
No permissions required
QuickID does not require permissions to work.
If you don't have permissions, you have to be OP to use commands and the tool.
Check Commands and permission nodes for more information.
Thank you
I'd like to thank you for taking the time to check out my plugin, I'm really grateful.
If you enjoy using this plugin and would like to support me, please consider making a donation. I'm currently a student and finding time to make this is hard. I will however continue making this plugin until I find it's completely done. Even if you contribute just a few bucks it'll always help me out. Thanks.

I hope you like and enjoy this tool. Thanks to the Creencraft server staff for helping me testing it!
You may have noticed it's been a while since I have myself updated this plugin. On the other hand, it's just a developer utility not really meant to be updated frequently unless there are critical errors.
That said though, I'd like to inform you all of two major upcoming updates:
First of all, I'm finally going to implement all planned features. I know I've not done much on this plugin and I need to catch up.
Second, this project is going open-source. While it is a relatively simple project, I believe anyone should have access to the source without having to go through a decompiler. By such, source will be made available after the update.
Thanks!

Do you have an items.csv file?
QuickID makes use of the items.csv file provided with Essentials, which lets you use block and item names in lookup commands.
If you have an items.csv file: this error means that it has not been found anywhere in the known locations. You will have to manually configure the fillepath towards the file in the config.yml file. Refer to the Configuration page for more help.
If you do NOT have an items.csv file: this error is completely normal and should be ignored.

@Redstoner_Pro
I am unable to test it with Tekkit or Spout, so I'm not sure. Thanks for helping me test, I really appreciate it.
That would be great if you added support for custom items. I've been looking for a way to find id's of items on my tekkit server, and this would fit if it works with the custom items. I know that tekkit is still 1.1 so not sure if it will affect it. I'll have to do a little testing myself.
@gibbly96
Thanks a lot! It would really help me :D
I´ll test it with spout.
@Redstoner_Pro
I am not sure, because I have never tested it. I will test it, and if it works I'll notify you. If it doesn't, I'll work on custom items support, since nothing else is planned. Thanks for your comment!
EDIT: I had trouble installing addons for Spout. Could anyone test it for me? :)
Will this plugin work on custom items? Such as Spout or Tekkit mod items?
