Quantum Connectors - Wireless Redstone
Replace that dusty old redstone wiring with quantum circuits!
Usage | Commands & Permissions
Features:
- Wireless redstone
- Optional delayed activation
- Activate multiple devices
- Edit your circuits! Remove receivers from existing circuits with sneak + click!
- Use Chests, Beds, Furnaces and even Bookshelves to activate redstone devices!
- Optional WorldGuard Support! Users can only create circuits when they have permissions to build.
- When enabled this plugin will check to see if there is an update available and let you know if one is. Don't be frightened! You can actually disable it in the same plugins/<thisplugin>/config.yml file that every single other plugin that has this functionality uses to disable it.
Circuit Types:
- quantum - receiver matches sender
- on - receiver is turned on when the sender receives power
- off - receiver is turned off when the sender receives power
- toggle - receiver is toggled when the sender receives power
- random - receiver is set to a random status when the sender receives power
- reverse - receiver is set to the opposite of the sources power
- impulse - receiver is set to on for 4 ticks when sender receives power, ignoring how long sender lasts
Special Senders
- Chests - ON sent when the chest is opened, OFF when it is closed
- Beds - ON sent when the bed is entered, OFF when the person leaves the bed
- Furnaces - ON sent when the furnace becomes lit, OFF when it is unlit
- Bookshelves - ON sent when clicked (can be used with toggle to turn things on/off)

I highly recommend subscribing to file updates, so the moment a new version is available you can download it.
For some reason the plugin refuses to load with spigot 1.8. Like no matter what version is refuses to load. doing /qc brings up nothing. doing /help simply says "unknown Chapter" and doesnt load. and the only thing that the console says is that "Error is quantum connectors up to date?"
Hi there,
Could anyone help me, I'm struggling to get the plugin to work with redstone lamps in 1.8. If anyone can help I'd be so grateful!
Why in the world can we not use iron trap doors? You can use trap doors, but no iron trap doors? Can you please add this! This would be a ton more helpful.
I wish that when you make a sender switch a receiver of another sender that it would act like a sender to the receiver it is set to instead of manually having to click it. S........S/R ......R
Sender and receiver (S/R) switch does not send if it is activated remotely.
This is EXACTLY what I needed on my little server, thank you!
@CloudeLecaw
I've added v2.5.7 which provides support for 1.8.3 (R2) NMS.
@Ne0nx3r0
i cant afford to pay anyone for that, so we will attempt to modify yours with the shitty java exp we have XD
its more of a want then a need, but im sure we can figure it out as we have for a few other mods we needed to change a little
we will send a pull request if we get anything working, our first move will be to get the colored lights core working with QC
@Givemhell1337
It probably is best to have a custom plugin made if you have a project that massive; playing around with individual circuits would prove too fragile for a system like that - I'd recommend using something stateless with signs or redstone, the way the original quantum circuits worked.
If you do make any improvements to the plugin feel free to submit a pull request so others can also benefit from your work.
@LemADEC
i have more then 7000 lights in the city atm, thats not going to work for what im doing. the project is massive. realistic. & something the community has NEVER seen or ATTEMPTED & will most likely set the standard for Jail/Rpg/PvP servers
seeing as theres a source il prob end up modifying the code myself
"I hate doors, I hate all the wooden doors." "I just want to break them all, but I can't" "Can't break all wood doors."
touche Ne0nx3r0, im laughing so hard
Please update your plugin to 1.8 Rare Item Hunter!
@harl
Most plugins don't survive on a /reload, you're better restarting the server instead.
Most of your points are already covered, can you be more specific?
@Givemhell1337
just put lever to trigger them?
i would like to see this plugin support more blocks if not custom defined blocks, i have tons of colored lamp blocks from Colored Lights Core & i cant use any of them to light anything =\
I wish this would be more versatile and support hoppers, droppers, repeaters, buttons, pressure plates, redstone torches, redstone blocks and ideally even redstone wires -
either of them as sender or receiver. Basically, it would make sense if anything that can be powered or act as a power source could be connected with each other.
/qc done - This should always cancel the creation process no matter whether I've chosen a sender-receiver pair or not. I shouldn't have to reload (or relog) for that.Never mind this, I just realised that "/qc cancel" was what I should have used instead.
The creation process bugs a lot for me. Even after a full /reload, a fresh "/qc quantum" followed by clicking/using a lever doesn't do anything, mabe because I have previously started a creation process with a lever without ever finishing it (?), though I couldn't find anything in the plugin's config files. (running Spigot 1.8 w/ QC 2.5.6)
Facepalm I should update my launch script more often than annually ;) QC is working without a problem, and now using Java 8. Thanks!
@Black_Goat
The latest release should work under Java 6+.
For the record IIRC spigot does recommend Java 8, but not require it.
@verservarlin
Neither Forge, nor Spigot 1.8 nor Sponge requires Java 1.8. What's preventing to use this plugin on Java 1.7?
@Black_Goat
if your using spigot 1.8 you should be using java 8
Using latest Spigot-1.8 and QC 2.5.5, I'm getting the "unsupported major.minor version" error that tells me this wasn't developed with Java 7+ in mind. Any chance of an update?
Update Thank you.
