Player LastSeen
This plugin broadcasts a message across the server whenever a user logs on, showing how long it's been since they last played on the server. It also has a command to check this, and it improves the user quit message.
Features
- Announces when a user joins the server for the first time.
- announces how long it's been since a player was seen on the server similar to how it is on empireminecraft
How to Use
Step 1: Download and put in servers plugin folder.
Step 2: Startup your server and it works!
Step 3: Setup permissions. By default all players receive the message but not all can use the command.
Step 3: You can even use /lastseen <playername> to see when a user was last seen from the moment you type the command.

Help/Support
If you are having an issue with the plugin please submit a ticket to our issue tracker. If you post your problem below I cannot guarantee a fast and efficient response or solution. Plus if you visit the issue tracker you may find there is already a solution to your problem.
Changelog:
1.4
-added support for bukkit 1.7.2(still works with 1.6.4)
-changed the way the logout time is stored so players will have to log out/in one time for it to display correctly.
-made the logic work faster
-fixed extra spaces in default messages.
-fixed the /lastseen <playername> command
-fixed the wrong message showing on new player join
-marks the time the player has been playing on the server by recording his first join date and time. (if not installed at the begining of the server it will default to when this was installed to this version) THis feature will be added mroe in-depth in a future update hopefully.
1.3.0.2
- fixed the version error. It seems this is a common one for me.

The ticket system is not working properly, we can't create an account. It says "To help protect against automated account creation, please select just the cat photos in the box below:" but there is no photos...
when using the command /lastseen <player> The player name is case sensitive

Where is the link for 1.4?
Update: My 1.4 version has been rejected due to policy changes by Bukkit. You can use the direct download links above, there was nothing malicious in the file. I just have to change the way the updater works so it uses the Curse API instead of the Bukkit RSS feed. Here is Bukkit's exact message:
The reason for rejection is: Due to recent policy changes, updaters (checkers and downloaders) must only utilize the Curse server mods API (documented at http://wiki.bukkit.org/ServerMods_API) as an information source. You are no longer permitted to use external data sources, even if they currently provide a BukkitDev URL. For more information, see http://wiki.bukkit.org/BukkitDev:Project_Submission_Guidelines#Update-checking
Version 1.4 is released which has fixed all known bugs! See the changelog for details. Also I made sure I changed the version this time so that the updatechecker works correctly.
@WsupPanda
There is a ticket tracker for a reason like I said. And you do NOT have to sign up for any site. As for inconvenience of taking 5 seconds to make another account the largest plugins require you to do that with gitHub so i see no reason that you cannot just use the issue tracker. They exist for specific reasons and comments are not the place for bug reports. I barely ever even scroll down to read them.
lol no problem, doesn't bother me too much.. but just letting you know there's a bug that you might want to fix, as I assume a developer striving to further improve their plugin would want to do.
Thanks, but submitting an issue's pretty inconvenient if we have to signup for a website apart from bukkit to do it. :(
@WsupPanda
Please file a ticket report for the issue with our ticket tracker. Ticket trackers exist for that reason, so that we can manage all the issues in a simple and efficient way.
Hi Gabe, there seems to be an issue..
When a player joins for the first time, it says that there is no data available, rather than announcing they are a new player and how many unique players have been on the server. This happens every time, not sure why.

Finally setting up the Wiki for all of my plugins, plus an issue tracker. Hopefully it will be up later today! If not it will be out sometime this weekend.
Version 1.3 is now released!!!!!!!!!
http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/player-lastseen/files/6-last-seen_v1-3/
Version 1.3 will be released sometime this week with custom message configuration, and so much more....lot's of fixes to things that may or may not of affected you.
@Konsider
If you mean the login info as in the modified login message then do this:
player group - -lastSeen.message
and then admins will still see it since the permission is true by default.
@WsupPanda
Updates are slow due to school activity, hopefully update will be out soon.
update ~
How do I use the permissions to stop default users from seeing the info on login, but still allow admins to see it? Thanks :D
@AlexanderMoore13
I must have missed that during my tests. Thank for you pointing it out, as for message customization I've had a few requests so I'm adding it hopefully in the next update.
Thanks for your feedback! :)
Just wanted to tell you that, in the command console, lastseen still sees itself as not up-to-date.
I have 1.2.1.1 but apparently it still thinks it's 1.2.1 and tells you to update. I come here, download the latest one again, and it still thinks it's not up-to-date.
Just a small mistake it looks like. Just make sure that it can identify itself correctly. 1.2.1.1 thinks it's 1.2.1
Edit : Oh, and for a suggestion, try color customization options for the lastseen message. I can't think of much anything else unless you want it to be more than just a lastseen plugin. But this is all I want.
Hey I need ideas on what to add to this plugin :)
I have one suggestion so far and would love to see more, PM me or comment here.
Just added V1.2, has some bug fixes and a few additional features.
