Planetoids
Planetoids - Generates a world full of planets:
Version: v1.4.2 Release
Planetoids, by default, creates a new world (called "Planetoids", if you fail to make a settings file) that uses my custom generator class to create a world full of "planets", which are spherical objects of varying size that have a "shell" of one block type, and a "core" of another. Planetoids can also be configured to work with multi-world management plugins, serving as a chunk generator for worlds that you create.
I got the idea from the Planetoids Map Generator, but I have no affiliation with the author of that tool.
Features:
- Configurable core and shell blocks, with percentage chance
- Optional floor, with configurable block type and height
- Optional single-block bedrock floor below that (to hold liquid floors)
- Can lock it to nighttime only
- Can disable weather, monsters, animals
- Reads world height from server.properties. Only seems to work up to 256.

Installation and Troubleshooting
A default config is created if you don't use the one from the zip, inside plugins/Planetoids. If you want to customize it before the spawn area generates (highly recommended), make sure you edit the one from the zip and put it in the right place. If you're going to use Planetoids with a multi world management plugin, I suggest you set 'autocreateworld' to FALSE, or Planetoids will make a world for itself automatically.

Nvm, found it in the notes
@Canis85
What is the name of the generator class?
@theminecraftdude58
New version compiled against Bukkit 1.3.1-R1.0 is pending approval. You can TRY using an old world with the new versions, but make sure you back it up first. You'll need to rename the 'plugins/Planetoids/systems' folder to 'plugins/Planetoids/[your_planetoids_world_name]_Systems'. If you haven't changed the world name, then the folder should be changed to 'Planetoids_Systems'

Sorry, the custom data values in the Planetoids config isn't very intuitive. Add the custom data value at the end, after a second dash, like this for example:
140-0.4-3
You currently have it like this: 140:3-0.4

If you solely play in Planetoids there are no Npc Towns, an Npc Village Would Be Epic
Hey do you think you can soon update this plugin to 1.3 with emerald planets? I would really love to see that because this plugin is awesome ;) GL and no hurry PS: do you think there is a way to keep the old world with a newer version ?
@WhiteAlcatrazMart
Why do you keep spamming? The creator can see the previous one aswell

@Canis85
It didn't work, When I try and do /pltp it says it says, "An Internal Error Has Occured While Attempting To Perform This Command, also when I launch my server it gives some error at the end that weren't there before, http://gyazo.com/0da459808f79bfb58c54dd76b766809a This link is for the pics, also no Planetoids world folder is created, Heres my config, Link Removed: http://www.mediafire.com/?xgsltsdg041lv7p
@Bawhoppen
If you know the data values, you can type the data value number instead of the material name in the Planetoids config.
Hello, I Really Love This Plugin, and I play Tekkit Frequently so I decided to play Tekkit Planetoids with them, but Theres no tekkit ores such as Tin obviously, Is there a way to config so there is?
Hey guys,
Great Mod - I have one problem, though. Whenever I generate a Planetoids world, it generates the planets, but at some point it just starts generating standard chunks, i.e. normal world. I tried this with both the autogenerated world you get with just the Planetoids addon, and also using Planetoids as a custom generator for Multiverse. Any idea what's going on?
do u have any permissions, if you don't i suggest u make it so there's a command for u to get you're own planetoid it would be cool.
just a suggestion, kitkat179 :)
Did you say... spawn changing plugins? I have one of those: "plgsetspawn" which is just "setspawn" for ops and "spawn" for everyone else. I think i know wat's up though: I made a world and planetoids did its thing "creating level 3" but then i changed server.properties to ENTER "planetoids" the world. I'm going to try it again, only not entering the plantetoids folder: just doing that. EDIT: never mind! i was entering the planetoids world from the server.properties and then starting the server. I FAIL :) now it is working perfectly. AWESOME SUPPORT THOUGH! thank you for making an awesome plugin with amazing cusstomer support (if u can call it that) :) :) :)
@Dudemousness
I added an 'Installation and Troubleshooting' page that might help you a little. When I test it, I don't use any plugins, so I'm not sure what might be causing your problem. I can only tell you that when I test it with Minecraft 1.2.5 and CraftBukkit 1.2.5-R4.0, with a default config, typing /pltp puts me in the Planetoids world without trouble.
When you say you 'spawn in a normal world', is that right after you log in? Planetoids doesn't replace your default world, it creates a new one. You should never spawn there by default (unless you're using another plugin to change the default world/spawn).
Make sure you're not trying to go to the Planetoids world before it's created. If your console is still printing '[INFO] Preparing spawn area for Planetoids, X%', then it's still generating the world.
I'm having the same problem that lolsheeps had - i spawn in a normal world (named Planetoids, by the way) and when i type "/pltp" i just respawn underground and suffocating. HALP i'm a noob :O
Heh got it to work. Had to use Multiverse. Guess I cant get it to work like I wanted... (Just have one completely seperate world made with Planetoids plug-in for my server, no teleporting to worlds you know?)
But it's awesome mate! Thanks :)
