Development
The project is published under GNU version 3 license, the source code is available on github so feel free to contribute!
Well thank you for considering it, founddiamonds still works but it has some issues and development is no longer happening. Id like to switch over to this plugin. Thank you for your time!
@wrecktify80
I added the idea as a github issue. I'll go trough them when I get time, but it's not exactly high level on my todo list :/
It would be a nice feature, at least for diamonds. I'm sure you are aware of the other plugin thats similar to this.. ive been using it for a long time. Do you think you could add an option to log diamond ore to a log file? Its really helpful at catching cheaters when the staff are offline
@wrecktify80
Nope, it doesn't.
Does this plugin log to a file?
@bendembd
Thanks for your quick support ! v1.3.2 work very well !
@smallpen
That was a stupid error on my end. It's fixed in the latest build and I pushed an update to dbo :)
@bendembd
I use Spigot v1.7.9-R0.3 , and use OreBroadcast v1.3.1 . When start plugin that happen error , please help me !
@smallpen
Thanks to you! I'll push an update tomorrow ;)
EDIT: the update has been pushed but seems to take a bit of time to get approved.
@bendembd
OK ! It 's work well ! Thanks for your support !
@smallpen
Thanks for the feedback, I don't use permissions myself so I didn't really test it before. Could you try the dev build #42 to see if that fixes your problem?
I found some permission issue that 'ob.commands.' seem don't work ! I already setup 'ob.commands.reload' , but command '/ob reload' can't work ! It say that I don't have permission to perform this command !
@farkros
Thank you, that's a nice idea, altough, this could be easily done by hooking onto the OreBroadcastEvent. I'll see what I do about it.
More discussion can take place on github.
Looks like a great plugin! good alternative to found diamonds, but could should add some cool random rewards when ores or diamond is mined, like high jump, fire resistance, no saturation etc. thanks.
@ayyyy
Pulled, thanks again for your contribution, the update has been pushed to dbo and is waiting approval :)
Edit: I've made a pull request at GitHub, if you could kindly check it.
Is there any known bugs with PermissionsEx?
Our permission file is as follows:
Yet, what happens is: when a member brakes a block = nothing happens - if an admin breaks a block = EVERYONE gets the message.
@dangerousdale
Thank you very much for the kind words, they are very much appreciated!
The message has brackets by default, but you can change the broadcast format in the config file.
I would like to say thanks for the plugin, have been looking around for someone that is keeping their broadcast plugin up to date.
Just something I have noticed, using 1.2.3 it has the brackets around the ore name:

Not sure if its on purpose.
Thanks
@smallpen
World whitelist has been added, PEX permission has been fixed and the update has been pushed to dbo, file will soon be available ;)
@RetroVd3mx
The config is based on the material list provided by the bukkit api. I don't know how mcpc+ handles new ores and I don't really want to look into it...
About older versions, I don't think I used stuff incompatible with 1.6, so everything should be fine. If not, feel free to open a new issue on the github tracker and provide server log (and crash report if existing), version of bukkit and a list of the plugin you use.
