Commanding a Craft
Basic movement
Once a craft is piloted, right click with a stick in the direction of travel while standing on the craft.
The craft will move one block in the direction you are facing. Holding down the button will create the effect of continuous motion.
Turning
If a sign with [helm] in the first line is placed, then right clicking it will cause the creation of a wheel. ( There is a known comparability bug with craft book, if you use craft book you will have to manually type out the wheel or create your own system for creating it)
Once a sign is a wheel, left clicking the whole will rotate the currently piloted craft anticlockwise, while right clicking it will rotate the craft clockwise.
When piloting your craft, you want to make sure you don't add any new blocks to the craft. In reality, these new blocks only appear to be part of your craft. If you try to move, they may block your path or be left behind. For example, I added fence to my ship as railing; however, these fence post were not part of my ship and prevented me from moving forward. To solve this problem, /release the craft and re-pilot the craft...
There are a couple of points to keep in mind about turning a vessel.
