MobBounty v4.2 [CB1337]
This is a simple plugin that pays and/or fines players for killing mobs. It integrates with iConomy v4-6, BOSEconomy v6-7, Essential Economy, and MultiCurrency for giving out rewards and PermissionsBukkit for permission handling. MobBounty is a full featured plugin that comes with many ways to customize your server to be unique from the others who have the same plugin!
- Latest Stable: 4.02 (Oxygen)
- Download Latest Stable Build (Mirror)
- MobBounty's Source Repository
- Permission Nodes
- Commands
- Individual mob rewards/fines. (Including Electrified Creepers, Monsters, Self Tamed Wolves and Tamed Wolves.)
- Ranged rewards to allow for a randomly generated reward within a range.
- Multi-world support allowing for different rewards/fines depending on the world.
- Multiply the rewards/fines depending on the environment, player's permission group, time, and/or world.
- Option for Mob Spawner Protection to prevent rewards if a mob spawner is within a specified radius of a player.
- Option for Depreciative Return to prevent camping of a single mob via a mob spawner. Also the option to change the rate in which the reward depreciates.
- Custom messages and locale support.
- Admin commands to change any setting in game, in real time, without restarting the server.
This plugin is amazing and it was an integral part of my server. I really hope this gets revived as it's a simple setup, easy to manage plugin that was very reliable.
@2Fast08
I vote that you release it anyways! Actually you should probably do what won't get you in trouble.
In the process of getting this code cleaned and working with the latest plugins. Not sure if I can release this without consent however.
@ZariusT
If you implement those two features, we have a worthy successor!
A new King shall be Crowned! Slaughter half the lifestock, and pardon the prisoners, we shall feast until dawn! (*cough* whatdoumean I take roleplay too serious?)
If you're interested in alternatives check out OtherDrops - it covers a lot of the features above and I'm open to ideas about making it easier to configure.
With MobBounty being public domain I might even be able to graft some of the MobBounty features (eg. mobspawner protection & depreciating rewards) directly into OtherDrops to get the best of both plugins.
Hi everyone!
I have requested a revival of the plugin we all love. Show your support!
I also request you post no further comments, so this link stays on top.
Update to R 6?
PLEASE! PLEASE UPDATE! This plugin is fantastic! ;D
@bizzig
any alternatives working on 1.2? im getting desperate :(
This dude just gave up on this plugin I think. Sucks balls for the people, like myself, who were running it on our servers.
DOESNT WORK WITH NEW BUILD. Don't bother downloading it....
Please update this for 1.2, my members love this plugin!
@xxOrpheus
yeh just carry it on please, can always pass it back to IchigoKygerlater, surprised this has worked so far when it hasn't been updated in months.
@xxOrpheus
Omg just do it urself. I'm tired of these updates and just want everything to work. (Pissed off @ Jeb!) Y can't mojang just update yearly?
@Gaurav1234
If I get permission, I might take some development into my own hands, though I'm a little inexperienced I should be able to keep it up to date, or, atleast, make a new one from scratch.
Please update this plugin, or allow someone else to update it for you!!
Please update this plugin! It worked so perfectly!

I have yes done so, disabled it and flying. But it also depends on which version you use, i have gone through a lot of the dev-releases of mobarena as well, and most releases nixed the permissions for me, followed by a release that ignored them, then good, then bad again..
General rule of thumb - if blah.* doesn't work as it should, be explicit with nodes. I dont know if the wildcard works or not in mobarena (enough forums suggest pex has wildcard issues in general - im using group manager)
But really you only need to knock out MobBounty.collect node
@TheBoomer
Have you done this yourself? I am having trouble doing so. I know how to use the negative-nodes as I have a ton in Pex, but it just does not seem to work in the config of Mob Arena.
I have tried both proper capitalization and all lowercase, but people are still allowed to receive mob bounty money.
quickclay MobArena already has the ability to permission-override in the arena, you'd just introduce negative-nodes there the same as you would for disabling flying or particular classes flying within the arena.
